AT&T will now allow SlingPlayer to stream video to the iPhone over their 3G network. It’s not just a quick decision either. AT&T and Sling Media have worked together to make the app conserve bandwith when connected to 3G:
Collaboration with developers like Sling Media ensures that all apps are optimized for our 3G network to conserve wireless spectrum and reduce the risk that an app will cause such extreme levels of congestion that they disrupt the experience of other wireless customers.
Even more good news is AT&T will begin to work with developers starting by the end of the first quarter to optimize their videos and applications for the wireless network on their developer website: http://developer.att.com/
This is all great news for the iPad. Sling Media could create an awesome interface with the larger screen of the iPad and AT&T will allow the app to run on their network.
Hooray for 3G Unrestrictor!
:))……right on!
Geaux Saints!!!
I see we are back to the one update per week routine.
So this website went to crap. Thanks for all the updates.

This place looks like a ghost town….is everybody on vacation?
Man, 8 days with no posts or comments from the AIS crew. Wonder what in the world happened.
Things have changed here, Brooke has vanished, just as Douglas vanished a couple of months ago. Douglas then re-emerged for awhile. I think everyone should realize that this is a site maintained from somebody’s home, and not from Apple Head Office. People are people and who knows what’s going on in the lives of these folks?
I hope they are both ok. Miss getting their updates. I bought an Iphone just bcos of them.
It’s by far the most reliable iPhone site.
