Thanks to our number one fan, we now have an iPhone app! Matthew Batey tweeted me this morning and sent me these two screenshots of an app he made for us.
Right now it’s available through his source at http://web.me.com/matthewbatey/Matthew_Batey/Cydia and I’ve added that source to our Sources Page. He has some other stuff in there too so check it out! He’s submitted it to the BigBoss repo too.
This app is pretty simple but it gives you direct access to our website, forum, Twitter account and YouTube videos and there’s buttons for refresh, back, forward and stop. If there’s anything else you’d like to see on the app, let us know!
It Says repo not found, i have white 32gb 3GS iphone with 3.1.3 Spirit
I was able to add it just fine. I typed it in exactly as it appears, caps and all…maybe it’s case sensitive?
The protocol (the “http://” part) and server name (the “web.me.com” part) are not case sensitive, but directory paths and file names are (the “matthewbatey/Matthew_Batey/Cydia” part).
So yeah, you need all the upper/lower case letters correct in the repo name.
u guys have 3.1.3 jailbroken with spirit ?
cause i think that new cydia doesnt allow u to add legacy installer repos or something like that . cause also this cydia wont let u add the beyouriphone repo so i m guessing tht they r regulating which repos to allow
cause i tried like 5 times and it wont let me, and yes i put it EXACTLY with caps and everything
I think beyouriphone is havin problems with their repo becuase it wont let me add it either and i jus jailbroke with redsn0w
beyouriphone repo is GONE AKA SHUTDOWN aka NO LONGER EXISTS.

Worked great for me on a recently restored (to 3.1.3 iPhone 3G) jailbroken with spirit. Now I can delete the web shortcut on my desktop and replace it with this app.
A bit too sluggish for me. Great free app, but I think I’ll continue to use Safari, as it is much faster than the app.
yeah this might be off topic…but does anyone know how to get the numbers and signal bars on the statusbar different colors like that ? I can’t seem to find anything like that in Cydia…
also nice app…but the mobile site works fine
It does work jailbroken with spirit you just have to type it exactly as it appears because it is case sensitive and if you make a mistake you get an error about not supporting legacy sources.
great idea , but very slow to load and the icon looks a bit daft as it is so much smaller than all the others . i find a link to this site on the browser loads twice as quickly as the app does .
Fixed the icon, I’ll submit to BigBoss and put on my repo. I’ll also see if there is a way I can increase the speed in the future :)

Matty, I think it would be kewl if you could add a loading wheel. Or make it so the stock loading wheel in the status bar spins as it loads.
