the first (via the developer), “sub pixel rendering for smoother game play experience” and the second is that the setting files have been moved from the /var/root/Media/Labyrinth to the /var/root/Library/Labyrinth. You can get Labyrinth through the Installer.app in the Ste Packaging source. Below is the screenshot: :)
