Drummer Drummer is a drum emulator by MooTheCow. When the application is open there are fifteen boxes that have labels like “Crash” or “Snare 1”. Tapping on each box gives you a specific drum noise. You are able to tap five boxes at the same time. There are five different drum sets: Dance, Jazz 1, Jazz 2, Rock, and Electro. All the sounds are high quality, and they are very close to the real thing. The help section tells you how to use the application in case you do not know how to, and there is a donation reminder. The thing that I love most about this application is the fan support. It is very easy to make sound packs for Drummer, all you have to do is make fifteen small samples of sounds and place them in the Media folder. You can get Drummer from the iPod Touch Fans source, also the developer’s site is moocowmusic.com. Below is a link for more drum sets and how to place them in your Touch/iPhone. Also, check out the screen shots below.

Extra Drummer packs + installation instructions.

I have an 8gb 1.1.4 ipod touch, and I have drummer installed, but I don’t hear any sounds through the headphones. How do I have sound come through the headphone on Ipod touch?

I had this same problem too. It seems that my ringer was set to silent. Try flicking the switch on the side of your phone. If it’s on silent none of the music apps like Pianist, Drummer, or Guitarist will sound.

    Hey man,

After lots of fiddling i finally figured it out.

You need to have sound effects going through speakers for it to work.

I wish the app could run while you’re listening to music, so you could play to your own music. That would be very very cool!
