FlipBook FlipBook is an application that allows you to easily create flipbooks right on your iPhone. For those of your who are not familiar with flipbooks, below is a demo video.

Example of a Flipbook:

As cool as flipbooks are, why create them the old school way when you can create them on your iPhone! Not only are you able to create layer-based drawings, there are customizable brushes and a multiple colors to choose from. Once you are finished, you can add your flipbook into your Photo Library allowing you to email the images or download them to your computer. Below is a short description of the application and a demo video via the FlipBook website.

“Easily create colorful animations with your fingertips, and share them with your friends and family. FlipBook has everything you need to get started animating, from an eraser to onion skinning to layered drawing. Load images from your photo library, including images taken with your iPhone’s camera, and draw on top of them. If you make a mistake, just touch Undo. Touch Play when you’re ready to see how your movie looks, and use the accelerometer to control how fast your movie plays. When you’re ready to share your movie, upload it to flipbook.tv so that everyone can see it. FlipBook puts animation into your hands.”

I think this is a really good idea. It’s applications like these that do a very simple task, but use the iPhones features to make it simple and fun.

I can only imagine the cool flipbooks that people make all over the world.

    Bravo on this cute idea.
