Mophie is soon releasing the popular Juice Pack Air for the iPod touch. The Juice Pack Air is the thinner, newer model extra battery and case combo from Mophie. This should be a pretty popular accessory for iPod touch owners. Everytime I am using mine and a friend with an iPod touch sees it they try to fit their iPod touch in it and then ask if they make one. I really like mine for the iPhone and would reccomend this for any iPhone or iPod touch user. There is no release date as of now; their website just says coming soon. It is priced at $79.95 and comes in black, blue and red.

You mean barely not barley. I might be tempted to get this for iPod touch 3g. This will come in handly when travelling.
This looks good. I use my Ipod Touch (1st Gen) at work, but it’s always plugged into the USB port to keep it going. When it’s not, it doesn’t last very long, so an extra battery like this would be very handy.
The down fall for you would be that it is only avalible for 2nd and 3rd Gen Ipod Touches.

the 1g iPod touch is getting pretty old… that’s probly why they aren’t making the air version for the 1st gen. if you go to mophie’s web site i think that they have the regular juice pack for the 1st gen iPod touch.
