Twitter just updated their app for the iPhone with some great features but they added a really annoying feature. At the top of the screen they added a rotating banner with current trending topics. It’s about the size of a typical ad and is really, really annoying. Thankfully, @chpwn made a hack to remove it and the hack is free in Cydia. Just search for Twizzler and install. Check out the before and after pics below.
Note: When the app was first released there was an error showing up “Size Mismatched” but it has been fixed now.
Cydia Description
Removes the new “trending topics” bar from Twitter for iPhone 3.3 (the ugly black bar at the top of all your timelines). Obviously, requires twitter for iPhone v3.3 from App Store to be installed.

Great site. I think this a tweak needed. Especially if your a big twitter fan. There been many apps and sitesvruined by ads. It really didn’t bother ne. But I will use this. Thanks
