G-Park – Simple Parking Application for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

PosiMotion G-Park by PosiMotion is simple parking application for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It will be available via the App Store when it launches on July 11th. There is no indication of a price for the application. Below is more info and screenshots.

G-Park in three easy steps:

1. Park your car and hit the Park Me! button.
2. Get lost.
3. Hit the Where Did I Park? button. Brings up Google maps and creates turn-by-turn directions that will take you right back to your car!

G-Park also provides an easy-to-use interface for additional details.

    So…this will work with GPS? and it will plot out where you parked your car on Google maps?

    That is AWESOME!

    This would be even more useful, if it were precise down to the very degree of longitude, latitude, and altitude. I always lose my car in a parking garage – can you imagine seeing a pin where your car is, then a blue dot of where you are, which moves as you move… Don’t worry about getting the wrong floor, it tells you your altitude and the pin’s altitude… Wouldn’t that be pretty cool?

    To be honest, I just can’t see anyone downloading this app unless it were free. How many times in a year would you use this? If you can’t remember where you park outside of a complex parking garage, you are an idiot.
