Ok, here is the deal. I’m dieing for a sweet WinterBoard theme. There are new themes in Cydia everyday but, I cannot seem to find one I like lately! Let me know in the comments what some of your favorite WinterBoard themes are!!

monochrome-aqua. It’s one of the four parts of monochrome
This is my favorite. I also use the Weather widget with the oneline feature. I push all the icons in the first three rows and it looks really slick.
I love monochrome as well. with agua and battery.
I also use Neo Keys dark for keyboard theme, it matches very well.
I like this theme a lot mainly because stock icons look great with it, and its not too flashy, but its not the boring black with ugly dock that apple gave as the default theme.
Im using deep/ the problem i have with some of the other themes is with icons that are not part of the theme look so out of place. Deep is close enough to stock to add that nice touch and very easy to read. Polished at the same time too….
im using deep, but too bad now because im only using the icons and a custom video wallpaper.
A8stract ntw is pretty slick.
i second that. The only downfall is the lack of option to have a springboard background.
Try putting User Wallpaper at the top…
My favorite is ‘Stereo Leopard’, I love the fact that when you open icons the screen shows a larger version of the icon whilst it is loading, love it ;-)

I just installed this. Simply the best theme I’ve used. I’ve tried almost everyone on here and this is by far the best.

Cake. It’s been made into three or four diffrent pakages where you can just use only the icons if you want. I would like to know what is the best program for making the themes so I can get into it. I tried using paint shop pro but they come out really rough looking.

“Lucid” Hands down. Beautiful, simple, clean theme with lots of icons. I keep trying other themes out, but I always go back to this one.
iGlasssol Trust me man that one is simple but sweet. I usually change my themes every 3 days cuz i get bored but i had this one on my iphone 3g for more than 3 weeks!
Gruppled. However, it took some tinkering in Winterboard for it to display my backround wallpaper. Pair it with Transparent Dock and Transparent Icon Labels and it is translucent simplicity at its best.
well, i have a personal themes installed via SSH, so not really publishing it yet, but here’s a preview. This was on my 1G iPhone though, so some of it has been updated for the 3G :)

Not sure what the name is, perhaps “invisible”… the icons are just the words.. so it’s very clean and I change my background all the time.. I like how simple it is with no icons…

Instead of using Cydia for all your themes you could try sites such as MacThemes2.net – you can hundreds of themes there (loads of which aren’t on Cydia and WIPs) as well as thousands of extra icons for most themes out there.
I really want to make my own theme on photoshop or illustrator. I just cant think of anything right now. I have one idea that I like then I want to do something else.

Hey guys….themes is one of the most important things to me and I have to recommend my 4 favorite themes that have soooo many icons and just look great on Springboard.
1) Agua
2) Deep
3) 70px
4) Radiance
All are great themes and I recommend you check them out. Not sure if you can get them from cydia, but all are on macthemes2 forums.

-Energy Battery (elegant simple battery)
I want to keep my iPhone to be elegant, sophisticate, muscular, functional, and easy on the eyes without too much flash.
I love my Ohio State theme… But I also switch to all the new themes I make just to make sure they look ok.
I forgot to mention a new theme temporary called Silent Hill…it’s one sick theme but a bit slow due to its high contents.

Favourite theme: Deep 2.1 by the lovely Toffeenut.
Second-fav: Classica by Dustin. I love it.
Third-fav: I really like Gradiance by Misecia. The amazing Louie Mantia’s Agua is still among the best. And last but not least, if you like big icon themes, get 70px.
All these are for 2.x iPhone of course.
Oh, I also use Neo Keys Dark as the keyboard and toffee’s Matte Calculator skin :)
Definitely bluebird and deep. Those two are really nice. The eve wall on macthemes looks great with bluebird too along with neokeys dark.

My iPhone is set up as follows:
– Radiance Theme (one of the best springboard theme so far personally)
– MobileMe UI (like the dark theming but similar masking as stock theme)
– Macbook Air keyboard (goes quite well with mobileme UI)
– Logo battery with percentage (still looking for a better replacement)
So overall not too flashy or overboard. Simple, stylish and functional.

I like the Vending Machine theme a lot. It’s made very well and it’s cool how many of the icons are changed to appear as candy/snacks in the machine.
I like the theme “Leaf” with “Portal Sounds”.
