rps (Rock, Paper, Scissors) is a game that came out a few days ago in Cydia. It is exactly what it sounds like…the classic rock, paper, scissors game. At first, I was sooo confused on how to play this game, I ended up reading the Help!

When you open rps, you will get the main screen. On the upper menu bar there are two options, Prefs and Help. Prefs will give you the option to play against the computer or another player. Help will give more info about the game. To play, select the Play! button at the bottom of the screen. This will bring up a menu with three options; Rock, Paper and Scissors. Once you have made your selection you will be brought back to the main screen. You then shake your iPhone or iPod Touch three times (like you would hit your hand three times). It will display a 1, 2 and 3 on the screen. If you are playing against the computer it will tell you what you selected, what the computer selected and who won. To play again, select Play!. Not an overly interesting or challenging game but it might be perfect for keeping your seven year old entertained (or college students)!

Remember…Rock wins against scissors, scissors wins against paper and paper wins against rock.
