WinterBoard Battery Mods

Available In: Cydia       Price: Free

WinterBoard I have noticed that there have been quite a few Battery mods in Cydia lately so, I thought I would show you a few of them. You can find them under the Themes (Battery) section in Cydia.

The batteries are displayed in the following order (I included the source they are from as well); Fire (via iSpazio), Blue Fire Battery (via iSpazio), Vista Battery (via iSpazio), Ubuntu Logo Battery (via iSpazio), Spiderman Battery (via BigBoss) and Billiard Ball Battery (via BigBoss).

can’t find the fire batteries :/
neither in the Theme (Battery) category, nor by searching for “fire” or “spazio”

and i do have the iSpazio repository installed :/

    • Brooke says:

Really, have you tried just searching for them using the Search option. That is weird. They were both released within the last few days or so.

    • Brandon says:

I have the same problem. I don’t see them in the Themes (Battery) section and they don’t show up when I do a search.

      Any ideas?

    • Brandon says:

      Nevermind, I figured it out…

For some reason my package list wasn’t being updated when I started Cydia. If you go to Changes then press the Refresh button, it should force a refresh of your packages.

    • Brooke says:

Huh…I just installed them today so I know that they are in there and I have 53 batteries apps in my Themes (Battery) section in Cydia. Maybe it has to do with the Setting you have set in Cydia.

    • Brandon says:

‘course, for some reason I still can’t find the fire battery themes :P

    • chrisdarkblue says:

I like to find the Blue Battery. Any one can Help me please. or get me the source.

    • DarkTheory says:

I like the Energizer battery logo…classic.

  4. Brandon says:

OK, well, it turns out that I’m getting an error when I refresh my packages; I guess that’s why I can’t see the battery themes

The error I get is: “Sub-process bzip2 retu” It’s cut off and I can’t see the rest.

Anyone have an idea of what’s going on and how I might be able to fix it?

  5. PiX says:

  7. Ben Davis says:

  8. DjMuffin says:

i found them but it wont download

  9. Michelle says:

I downloaded the blue fire battery theme and checked it on winterboard but it only shows up when iphone is connect to my pc, as soon as I pull that white cable my screen changed back to the original wallpaper I previously selected…anyone can tell me why and how I can keep the blue fire battery?

  10. Richard says:

Michelle – the same thing is happening to me. I think it’s whenever the phone is plugged into the power. I’ve tried rotating the position of the battery thing around winterboard to no avail. Anyone have any ideas?

  11. jbinfrisco says:

Why would the battery show when it wasn’t connected to a power source? You have the little battery in the top rt. for that.

  12. jeffers says:

downloaded battery only shows when its plugged in
    please help

  13. peeko says:

I have added this to winterboard, selected it. Plugged my phone in (iphone4) and alas to no avail.

None of the battery mods are working, I gotta be doing something stupidly simple wrong?

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks

    • FrankX says:

      peeko,

I have the same problem on my iPhone 4.

Maybe there are other dependencies that are required which I don’t have?!?

I tried the Batman Battery theme which does nothing when plugged in to the charger, it just shows the normal boring Green Battery (gutted!).

I can’t get the Batman wifi one working either. Sposed to replace the wifi symbol on the top bar to show as a lil batman symbol but i just got the plain old boring one.

Both were ticked in winterboard and I’ve tried re-installing them, twice, but no joy.

Thought I was going mad and just hadn’t enabled the themes but other bits work ok, like icon themes.

      Any ideas folks?
