Recent/CallLog Delete – Delete Individual Calls from Call History

Available In: Cydia       Price: $1.49

Recent/CallLog Delete Recent/CallLog Delete is a mod that allows you to delete individual calls from your call history. This is a simple but handy application. Once installed, it adds a Edit button to the top left of your Recent Calls page in your stock Phone application. When you select Edit, you are able to delete individual calls. Normally, you are only able to Clear the entire list and not delete the call history one by one.

This seems like such a simple feature (and one that Apple should have included!!). Honestly, I could have really used this application last month while I was planning Doug’s surprise Birthday party. I kept having to delete my entire history… it would have been nice to just delete the ones I needed to!

Overall, the application is nicely implemented and does exactly what it says it is going to. Whether it is worth $1.49 to be able to delete individual calls from your history is up to you. Recent/CallLog Delete is available via the BigBoss source.

I think it’s funny to see when the Cydia community comes out with something that Apple should’ve had a long time ago. (ex. Video Recording (Cydia 2.x, Apple 3.x), Deleting Calls (Cydia 3.x, Apple probably 4.x)

    Anybody else feel the same?

    • Bruce says:

Could someone please help me to confirm if after the installation, will I lose all the existing calls log?

      Thank you,
      Bruce

  2. tomcrown1 says:

This what apple should have included in the useless 3.1 update.

  3. Frank says:

WeTools app 1.1.2 thru installer, deletes
individual calls, Text and forwards Text. iPhone video recorder app 1.1.4 thru installer. Apple is way behind. Jailbreak rules.

those rotten apples sitting in the office waiting for money doing nothing.

There are some many iphones users outside.

For example, there isn’t a button to delete all the contacts from iphone.

Maybe we should call it a Stupidphone not Smartphone.

  7. basti says:

i agree! jailbreak rules! apple should have thought about that before, and now they have released their 3.1 OS and still, individual deleting of calls is still not part of the firmware. im now running on 3.1 OS and i miss my weTools apps that i have when i’m still running on 1.1.4 OS

  8. davy says:

Why isn’t this program available on AppStore? whoever developed this mod could make money via AppStore.

Glad to have finally found this for deleting individual calls on iPhone. Really odd that it’s not a built-in feature. I had a cheap pre-paid GoPhone before the iPhone. & it had the individual-call-delete feature in it!

On another subject somebody asked “where did it go?” the answer is, there is no UI with this app, after installation just open the recent call screen and you will find a new EDIT button on the top left corner, this button will allow you to delete calls, as per the rason for the app, very good.
