The update to PhoneZap fixes a bug in the Ringtone creating section of the application. In the previous version, if you have a period in the title of a ringtone, it would not work. They have fixed it in version 1.3.8 so that you can have a period in the title of a ringtone. PhoneZap is available through the AppTapp source.

Hi!

I have a problem, yesterday i tried to update phonezap to 1.3.8 and installer gave me a main excecution …. failed… i tried to unistall phonezap, and all done, but phonezap still installed and runing on the iphone. I uninstalled manually (deleting phonezap.app with ssh) and reinstalling the last update, but installer gaves me the same error, but WOW, phonezap is installed, but now it doesn’t appear on uninstall list of installer… ?????? why!? and how can i know the version i have installed!?¿!??!

You have main execution failed because you don’t have enough disk space on your iPhone (iPhone has 2 partitions!) In order to fix this issue, install Bosstool http://www.appleiphoneschool.com/category/bosstool/

You need to make sure you have ‘BSD Subsystem’ and ‘SUID Lib Fix’ installed from the installer . They are in the ‘System’ and ‘Tweaks 1.1.4′ categories respecitvely.

If this does not work, you will have to restore your phone to v1.1.4 firmware in iTunes, and unlock your phone again with ZiPhone (download it at ziphone.org) , in order to use phonezap.

I have boos tools, installed, and apps/font/ringtons moved to disk1 partition instead of disk0 system partition…

I have 116 mb free of 300.

Can someone look into this. This app has become a tool of choice for Middle Easterns. They have maps and pics showing New York, mechanical drawings and Chemical formulas there all the time.

There are pictures in arabic too. this looks weirds….not trying to impy much but I think there is something going on. I hope I am wrong.

that’s apart from the porn pic that are there all the time.

Hey guys

I tried to install BSD Subsystem’ and ‘SUID Lib Fix’ installed from the installer. Both failed and I got “Package download failed”for the first one and “Main script execution failed” for the second.

Is there another way than restore the iphone?

I had to restore setting in my phone yesterday because I was unable to get to my emai. After doin so, I reinstalled jailbreak and things were uploading fine. I installed phonezap and it installs but when I try to create an account it says error. Error creating account. And I get the same error if I just try to log in. Any ideas?

In the ringtones section of my phonezap only podcasts show up for me to create ringtones with! I uninstalled and reinstalled but it didn’t help. Any ideas?

It seems PhoneZap f’d up my iPhone for crap. It just wouldn’t unistall and when I try installing I get this ‘Main Script Execution Failed’, and the icon still shows on my board. When I click it, it simply crashes.

Now even other apps are giving me the ‘Main Script…’ error, which never happened before I started using PhoneZap!

I’ll never restore & then re-unlock ever just for an app which doesn’t guarantee it won’t f me up again. I used to say PhoneZap is thebest iPhone app, but its just given an aweful load of trouble and I’ll never ssy that again.

Someone kindly create a more stable Ringtone Creator…
