AT&T I just received an email from AT&T about a promotion starting tomorrow. Here’s the info:

We are excited to announce that we will be launching another iPhone Refurb sale!

iPhones are now sold out and are on back-order online. However, your customers will be able to purchase a refurbished iPhone online at AT&T for only $250!

This promotion is valid from Wednesday, May 14th through Friday, May 16th (while supplies last).

AT&T, Starbucks and the iPhone

Yesterday, Doug and I were getting our normal Starbucks fix (Venti Java Chip Frappuccino) when we decided to ask the nice barista about AT&T WiFi. She informed us that they still did not have AT&T WiFi. However, just before we left the parking lot, I decided to take a look anyway. I was surprised to find that in my WiFi Network options, attwifi was listed. This made me slightly curious because this particular Starbucks has not had AT&T WiFi in the past. So, I decided to give it a shot. When I opened a web browser I was greeted with a User Login screen. Doug tried all relevant options that we could think of to as what the User Id and Password could be. To no avail. So, he decided to check out the website. No information there either. AT&T has recently dropped the price of the 8GB iPhone to $250.00 though, there is a catch (or two), the iPhone is refurbished and requires a two year contract. But, if you always dreamed of having an iPhone and $400 was a little out of your price range…here is another option. Update: All of the 8GB refurbished iPhones (for $250.00) have been sold out. We put this post out around 8:00pm yesterday and there were still some left as of 1:00am this morning…so, they must have all gone later this morning! Let us know if you were one of the lucky ones who got one!
