The update to version 2.0 of BettyCrocker changes the applications title…which I had a feeling would happen! Instead of BettyCrocker, the title is now Bettys Cookbook. I think it is a pretty good alternative. The update also adds a new Custom option to the lower menu bar. However, I’m not exactly sure what it does! BettyCrocker is a cookbook on your iPhone! When you open the application, you get a screen with two options; Donate and Exit. You will also see a lower menu bar with four more options; Breakfast/Brunch, Drinks, Dinner and Dessert. Theses options break the recipes into categories. If you select the Breakfast/Brunch options, you will get recipes for different kinds of pancakes, egg bakes…etc. If you tap on a recipe that is in the list, it will bring up all the information for that recipe including; Prep Time, Start to Finish Time, How much it makes, the Ingredients and the instructions on how to make it.
