Like applications Euro2008 – a European Football Associations Guide and Formula1 – a Formula1 Guide, TourDeFrance is a Guide for le Tour de France. The application will open to the main screen in which you can select your language, as of right now, only English is available. Though, I’m sure we will see more languages added with future updates. Once you have selected your language you will be brought to the main menu here you will see the options; News, Teams with Drivers, Race Calendar, Race Info, Race Map, Last 10 “Winners”, Credits and Select Your Language. The New option will bring you to a menu in which you can choose to see new via Yahoo or BBC Sports. When you select an article from either, it will open right in the application instead of opening in a seperate browser…which is nice. The News cane be views over Edge, WiFi or 3G networks.
The Teams and Drivers option will give you a list of all the Teams. When you select a team, you will see the number, name and nationality of each driver in the team. The Race Calendar option will display a list of the Place, Date and Number of the races…starting with today’s race all the way through race 21 on July 27th. The Race Info option will bring you to a list of all 21 races. When you select a race, you are give the distance of the race and a map showing you the terain of the race (the map is not in English). The Race Map option brings up a map of the entire Tour de France. I do wish that you could zoom in on the map…it is hard to see any specifics when it is zoomed so far out. The Last Ten “Winners” option is a list of the winners of the Tour de France from 2007-1997. The Credits option will give you more information about the application and the Select Your Language option will bring you back to the screen in which you can select from a list of languages. This application functions well and has a lot of good information. You can get le Tour de France via the iSpazio Source.
this guy “charel” has great ideas, first the formula 1 guide and now this guide :) brilliant app!
no charel omly has coded the executable – a kinda internal safari
The App itself is developped by the ipod.backshot.eu Team.
Great app
Uhhhhh. Who would spend there time looking at a bunch of times and laps numbers. I have real appreciation for the developers who put these applications together, but who in god’s name is going to gaze at an application with such limited time frame and usefulness???
Thank you Brooke for your tip, to zoom in i try hard to apply it into a new update…
Need to know how to down load this help thanks
Howdy! Do you know if they make any plugins to help with SEO?
I’m trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m not seeing very good success.
If you know of any please share. Thank you!
