getting an error for the chat
Over max sessions
This error usually is from having to many chat windows open…
I don’t have any chats open, I can’t even get in.
I can’t get in either. I think too many AIS readers are in there! :-P
Apple’s store is not working, yet strangely, it doesn’t have the usual message from Apple saying that it will be back up soon. Anyone else experiencing that problem?

I don’t see in any point in buying a ew iphone except for 3G. What a massive dissapointment. Nothing abuot the camera, still the same capacity….boring. Good stuff on the new 2.0 platform though.

STILL no streaming audio Bluetooth from a device where one of the primary functions is to be a music player.
$299 for the 16GB, $399 for the 32GB!
There is no 32GB at this time.
no mms no camera in front we lose all of our customizing apps on 1.4 the only good point is 3g itself

actually yeah now that i think of it, why does the iphone not have MMS and a video recorder when every other phone on the face of the earth has these 2 simple things.. I’ll tell you one thing though, they BETTER be in firmware updates for Steve’s effing sake.

I’m so disappointed. I’m going to be getting the Blackberry Bold when it’s released.
i can’t wait to get my hands on a new white 16gb 3g iPhone. I love that it has better battery life and the GPS, the only thing I wish it had was an upgraded camera/video feature. oh well. 3g WOOTWOOT!
this is the most dissapointing thing i have ever seen in my life.
The only thing I can see that Apple did is go after the Smart Phone market. One thing they didn’t seem to crunch the first time round. They are selling it cheap so they can sell volume. If the camera, video recording, MMS, no more storage etc then the price would be substantially more, therefore not being able to dominate the smartphone market as Windows Mobile and Blackberry does. Gutted really. I won’t be rusing out to buy one anytime soon. I live in the city and hardly drive so the GPS isn’t that important to me.
One question. Is this $199 with a contract with AT&T or if you just buy the phone on it’s own? I am guessing the latter is too good to be true?
Though the phone boasts higher speeds, it doesnt really set itself apart from the original iphone other than the battery life & memory size.
I have to say that this is somewhat of a disappointment!!!
The app store pales in comparison to what we already have with the installer & cydia.
I think I’ll stand pat & enjoy the programs I have installed already!
If i want gps i’ll actually buy a system for my car.

Well two things come to light for me:
-Good luck selling that old iPhone on eBay now for anything more than $100.
-Thankfully there isn’t anything really advanced about this one so I don’t feel the need to purchase it. 3G would be nice, but I already have the internet.
All in all, no real loss IMO.
Not impressed at all. Plastic back. 3G would be ok, but 2 to 3 times faster, i can wait.
The thing about the first gen iphone is that we are the first adopters..and we got the antique that others didn’t get!!!…we set the trend! lolz..NERDS…hahaha…i’m sure gonna stick to my iPhone..i am not getting a new one…and I am staying with firmware 1.1.4 !….
Hopefully they come out with a 2.0 jailbreak though!
yup… don’t think i will buy the new iphone. not much point… just stick with what i have, which i am happy with.
