Well, ZodTTD is at it again. He has got psx4iphone, a PlayStation emulator, running on an iPhone 3GS and says that it is pretty sweet.
“I now have psx4iphone running very speedy on the 3GS. It’s at the point where Final Fantasy 7 is fullspeed at very least without sound. The build is rough around the edges, as you can’t switch games without restarting the emulator, and only memory card saves are currently working, no save states just yet. Both these issues are being worked on.”

I just went to zodttd’s YouTube page. He also has gps4iphone running at amazing speeds. Seems he did the code signing himself to get it to run on the 3Gs which makes sense. He has also made some games for the AppStore as well which I guess means he has the SDK as well. He’s awesome. I can’t wait for these to come to the 3GS when the jailbreak is available! XD
I haven’t jailbroken in a few months because of the common sluggishness and crashing that happens on occasion. I basically said “all I jailbreak for is theming anyway, so why bother.” Background processes are nice, but the only think I’d to that to was Pandora anyway, so I didn’t really care. Now with that said, if this is as successful as it looks… I’M JAILBREAKING THIS F’N 3GS. lol

I heard he is charging for some of his emulators. I think it was the NES or SNES but luckily I don’t use those. Hopefully everything else will be free!

For a while, only NES emulator for 3.0 is paid. All the others, including the psx4iphone, are free.
