Orbit – User Statistics, One Week After Launch
Yesterday Steve Troughton-Smith, the developer of Orbit, posted an article on his blog that reveals the user statistics of Orbit a week after it was released. It includes some pretty interesting information.
Just one week after it’s released, Orbit has nearly 50,000 users (keep in mind that the app costs $1.99 in Cydia… not too bad). He then gives a detailed break-down of the statistics of the 45,254 users. Below are the charts.

Orbit 1.1 – Home Button Support

Orbit, by Steven Troughton-Smith, will soon be updated to version 1.1. The update will include home button support for the app. Troughton-Smith says he is going to be testing the new feature for a week or so to work out any bugs and then will release the update in Cydia. Expose Changed to Orbit and Submitted to Cydia Store
A few days ago, we told you about Expose, an application that is similar to Spaces on the Mac only on the iPhone. The developer, Steven Troughton-Smith (who also developed Stack), has changed the title of the mod Expose to Orbit. Orbit has been submitted to the Cydia store and should show up soon in the next few days. No info on how much the app will cost but, I’m guessing it will be worth it. Expose – “Spaces” for the iPhone
Steven Troughton-Smith, the developer of the very sweet application Stack, has been working on a new app called Expose. Expose is basically like Spaces on the Mac only, on the iPhone. He is still working on some final UI and animation stuff and there is no word on when it will be available but, it looks sweet. Check out the demo videos and screenshot below.
