Orbit, by Steven Troughton-Smith, will soon be updated to version 1.1. The update will include home button support for the app. Troughton-Smith says he is going to be testing the new feature for a week or so to work out any bugs and then will release the update in Cydia. App Store Redeem Button Moved… Once Again

It seems that Apple has once again moved the Redeem button. The Redeem feature allows the ability to use promo codes to redeem applications from the App Store.
The Redeem option has now been moved to into the App Store application under the Featured option. Once in the Featured option, you will need to go into the New category and scroll all the way to the bottom… there you will see Redeem. Read more
Sleep to Lock – Go to Lock Screen via the Sleep Button

Sleep to Lock is an application that changes your sleep button (that is the Power button on the top of your device) so that when it is tapped, instead of putting your iPhone or iPod Touch into Sleep mode, it brings it to the Lock Screen. This is a code application so, when you install it, there will not be an icon on your SpringBoard…it just automatically makes the change once installed. QuickTip – Silence and Send Calls to Voicemail using Power Button
It’s time for anther QuickTip! My last QuickTip was about how to lock your iPhone using the Power Button so, I thought I would stick with the “Power Button” theme.
QuickTip – When receiving an incoming call, you can quickly press the power button (that is the button on the top of your device) once to mute the ringing. Or, when receiving an incoming call, you can quickly press the power button twice and send the call straight to voicemail! Read more
iPhone Passcode Not as Secure as Once Thought!

I found out read today that there is a work around for the iPhone’s Passcode, making the iPhone not as secure as I once thought it was! It seems that when your iPhone is locked and you are prompted to enter your Passcode, you can select Emergency Call and then double tap your Home Button and it will launch your double tap settings. Meaning, if you have your Favorites set as your Home Button double tap (your iPhone’s Home Button double tap is set automatically to your Favorites so, if you have never changed it in your Settings, that it what it is set as), people are able to get into your Favorites even if your iPhone is locked.
At first this may not seems like an issue. So, they might call a few of the people on your Favorites list. Well, it also means that if you have an address, email address, Safari link, etc in any of the info for your contacts they can get into all of that as well.
