iPhone Launches in China on October 1st

##ICON_NAME## I’m sure many of you have heard the news that, after a few meeting with Apple’s top guys, China is expected to get the iPhone. According to Engadget, China Unicom will be announcing today that they will be launching the iPhone on October 1st. Below are the package details. Is China Finally Getting the iPhone?

##ICON_NAME## It seems the some of the main men from Apple are headed to China… including Apple’s VP of iPhone and iPod product marketing, Greg Joswiak. The word is that they are going to be talking with China Unicom, “one of the country’s large, state owned mobile carriers.” This can only mean one thing, Apple is eagerly trying to get the iPhone into China (at least by legit means). I don’t blame them, with 1 billion phone users in China, I would want a piece of the market too!
