SuperPong 0.6 adds a good amount of content and fixes. The first update, is the addition of the “Info/About” section. It says that the game was created by Jazon Burneel, and that the game is still in beta. There is also a “Okay”, “Visit Website”, and “Donate! (more info)” button. Tris is another tetris game. The main question is if this is better then Tetris!. When you open the application you are given four choices: “resume”, “new game”, “high scores”, and “about”. Tapping “resume” resumes your game from the last time you stopped playing. Tapping “new game” starts a new game, tapping “high scores” apparently does nothing, and tapping “about” gives you the credits. The interface is amazing. It is clean, sharp, and simply beautiful. Just going from menu to menu, there is a fade affect. During the game the pieces move smoothly in all directions. There are little details like a glowing shine between the block’s cracks, which goes away once they fall to the bottom. The interface and the graphics were very well made. Penguin Panic! is a tilt based game published by NewAttiPhone. When you first start the game you are greeted with a title screen asking you to name your penguin. This name will be used for the high-score table. There is also a tab for contest details, this is just a contest for fans of the application to make additional power-ups. Once you are done entering your name you tap “go”. You are thrown into the game right away. The game is in landscape mode. The point is to dodge the randomly falling icicles. Your score increases the longer you are alive. Power-ups also fall from the top of the screen. SuperPong is a block-blasting pong game developed by Spiffyware. This game is outstanding, especially for it’s first release. The object of this game is to bounce a ball off of a paddle and make the ball destroy all the blocks. When you click on the application you will be greeted with a title screen stating the developer, and the developer’s website. Then you will have a pop-up explaining you how to play which I will get into a bit later. You have three choices of difficulty, “Piece of Cake :-)” which is easy, “I Think I’m Ready…” medium, and “This is Cruel!” which is the hardest difficulty. Tetris! is tetris hence it’s name. It is far superior over Tetromino which is also a tetris game. You can get it from the newATTiPhone.com source. It requires Jiggy Runtime in order to actually play it so, make sure you install that first! When you open up the game for the first time it will ask you for your name. The game requires a name because Tetris! has a high score table. On the actual game screen you will notice the buttons “pause” and “hold piece”.
