Gameloft has been releasing tidbits about it’s new racing game Driver for a little while now with no announcement on the exact date that the app would hit the App Store. Phaze is a 3D racing game. The full version has been available in the App Store for about a month now however, the Lite version was just released.
Navigate the twists and turns of Tau Ceti in your Daemon Industries Delta 4 as you race your opponents in high tech race craft. Aim for the boost pads to achieve warp speed, pick up weapons to blast your opponents and collect power boosts and defensive shields along the way!

This is honestly, in my opinion, the best game in the App Store so far. It’s quality challenges even those of PlayStation One games, which is a break-thru for a game on a mobile device. This game is fairly popular not only on the iPhone, but other mobile devices as well, and have had access to this quadrilogy for years.
Once you open the app, a movie will play. Now it kinda exaggerates the game (it makes it look like a PS2 game!), but it does give attention to the game itself. When that is done, it loads and then brings you to the title screen. Tap the screen to begin your journey.

The only visual change to version 1.1-1 of Formula1, a Formula1 Guide, is that Spanish and French have been added to the list of available language. Other that, the application has all the same features as in the previous version. You can get Formula1 via the iSpazio source.
Freeverse, a leading developer of entertainment software, has developed Wingnuts Moto Racer, a racing game for the iPhone. Wingnuts Moto Racer is set for release in the AppStore. An intern at Freeverse has written a pretty good article written about the app…they have all the fun information blotted out and there is only artwork from the cutscreen (no screenshots) but, it is an interesting article none then less. There is one paragraph in the article that has me most excited about the AppStore:
When the iTunes App Store finally opens its virtual doors, forget about the iPhone as “just a phone.” On that red-letter day, whenever it happens to be, the iPhone will be well on its way to become a premiere gaming platform.
