I don’t play video games much, but when I do, I often go straight to the sports simulation games. Madden Football, NBA Live, Earl Weaver Baseball (OK, I’m dating myself now…) Thus, I was excited to give X’s and O’s Football a test drive after seeing some decent reviews in the app store.

Overview
The game is quite simple with no real options other than the main game. You are in control of a 5-player team that consists of a quarterback, a lineman, and three wide receivers. You can choose from 8 plays that show your receivers’ routes and then touch the screen to pass to your receiver. Tilt the iPhone/Touch to move the receiver after the catch and score as many touchdowns as you can.

SoccerGuide 0.1

Looks like we didn’t have to wait very long! Over the week-end SoccerGuide was released. It looks to be pretty much the same as the preview screenshots. The application opens to a screen where you can pick from two leagues (Germany; Bundesliga and England; Premier League). Once you have selected a league you get the options to view Live Scores, New, Table, Results, Fixtures, Clubs, Credits and the ability to go back to the League screen. It looks as if the scores are brought to you via ScoresPro. They do not fit correctly in portrait mode but if you tip your iPhone to landscape mode it fits fine.

Euro2008 1.7.1

There have been a few update to Euro2008 (1.7 and 1.7.1) since the last time I did a review of the app. There are a few visible changes to the application. First off, Esperanto has been added to the list of available languages. I also noticed that Google Ads have been added to both the Live Results and Score sections. The Score section also gives you a quick view of the results. I also noticed a few minor changes to the English menu (though, these could be from a previous version). Euro2008 1.6

The update to Euro2008 version 1.6 adds Chinese to the list of available languages. Other than that, there are no visual changes to the application. Euro2008 is available through the iSpazio source.

Euro2008 1.5

There have been a few changes with the update to version 1.5 of Euro2008. The first thing you will notice when you open the application is that the Live Score and Result options no longer say Coming Soon! Euro2008 1.4

The update to version 1.4 of Euro2008 adds two more languages, Czech and Russian. Bringing the total number of supported language to eleven! There are also two new options on the main language menu; Live Scores and Results. Neither of these options are avialable yet however, once they are available, they will require internet connection. Euro2008 1.2 & 1.3

The update to version 1.2 of Euro2008 adds five additional language translations; Dutch, Spanish, Deutsch, Francais, Norwegian and Bahasa Indonesia.
