Redo – Task List You Can Reset

Available In: App Store       Price: $1.99 or Free (Lite Version)

RedoI had been looking for a long time, when I found this app, for a task list app I could use for repeating tasks. This way I don’t have to write my list over again or uncheck every task. Once you check off everything, you tap the refresh button in the bottom left and it resets the list. You can also make more than one list. You can drag around lists to reorder them and individual items within the lists. This is a big feature for me too because if a task suddenly becomes high priority I can drag it to the top.

The icon for the app supports badges and the number represents how many tasks are left in the currently opened list as default. You can make it show only lists you favorite or all lists or none.

Overall, I like this app because of it’s simplicity. It just works. This applications is on my first page of my iPhone.

Light, Moo, To Do – Erica Sadun Applications in the the App Store

Available In: App Store       Price: Free

Doug is starting to do video reviews of App Store applications so, I was trying to find a few applications that I could review that didn’t necessarily need a video. So, I decided to go with a few familiar apps..all of which are free (which is nice!). Most people in the jailbreak community are familiar with the name Erica Sadun…she has developed quite a few applications for the jailbroken iPhone. It seems Light, Moo and To Do have made their way from Installer to the App Store. Below are quick descriptions of each application.

Light is a simple application that turns your iPhone into a flashlight. Once the application is installed, all you need to do is tap the icon on your SpringBoard and voilĂ , you have an instant flashlight. This really does work…I used it all the time on my jailbroken iPhone. They only problem with Light is that you cannot adjust the brightness. So, if you are trying to check on a sleeping baby…it can sometimes be too bright! A flashlight application is a must have for any iPhone or iPod Touch! (Doug just used this app to plug in a mic to the back of his computer! Ha!).

OmniFocus Coming Soon

OmniFocus OmniFocus is a task management program that is scalable from entire projects to simple shopping lists. Many Mac users already know what Omnifocus is but if you want to learn more details about the desktop version and their services check out their website. I’ve had this great idea for an iPhone app but it looks like they beat me to it. Although my version requires running in the background. Basically it notifies you of tasks based on your geo location. Now since Apple won’t allow it to track you and can’t run in the background I assume you will have to open the app to check if there is something you need to do near a specific location. [Read more…]
