The Case of the “Lost” iPhone 4G

##ICON_NAME## So, as many of you well know… Apple’s 4th generation iPhone has made it’s debut a little early. Personally, I’m a skeptic by nature (more on that later) but here is what we know.

Apple employee Gray Powell (Apple Software Engineer working on the iPhone Baseband Software) seems to be the fellow who was once the owner of the lost 4th generation iPhone. On Thursday, March 18th, he was apparently celebrating his 27th birthday at Gourmet Haus Staudt, a nice German beer garden in Redwood City, California (which happens to be just 20 miles from Apple’s Loop headquarters) where he “supposedly” had a few too many of those German ales. Leaked AT&T Memo or PR Stunt?

AT&T I’m sure many of you have heard about the “leaked” AT&T Memo detailing the success of the iPhone 3GS launch day. What I’m wondering is if this is true of if it is a nice PR stunt. iPhone 2.0 Pictures

This is the most recent claimed photos of the iPhone 2.0. It does seem to match the recent claimed template images of the iPhone 2.0. Notice in the template image the location change of the proximity and light sensors and the addition of a third sensor which I hope is a camera. Also the changes at the bottom where the mic/speaker is; possible dual microphones for echo cancelation and stereo speakers? And last but not least, colors! Red, white and black.
