Pandora updated their iPhone app to finally support running in the background. It’s using Apple’s new APIs to keep the audio streaming in the background but close down the rest of the app to save battery life. It worked well on my iPhone 3GS and the new iPod controls in the dock now support Pandora when it’s open.
Backgrounding this app only works on iOS 4 which means it doesn’t background on the iPad. Below is what it looks like.

ZodTTD, the developer of psx4iphone and quake4iphone has been developing an App Store application called Streamer. Today, the app was approved by Apple. Streamer is an application that allows you to stream internet radio and television.
The application comes stock with 6 audio streams and 6 video streams. You can able to add a stream using the Bookmark option. Once a stream is playing; you can pause it, bookmark it and watch it using the Now Playing option. [Read more…]

As far as I knew the only way to get Sirius Satellite Radio on an iPhone was to load an app on the phone and stream it from your home computer… LAME!!! What year is this anyway? I have Sirius on my dash for the love of Pete! Those days are gone. This app on your phone and a current Sirius subscription is all you will need. [Read more…]
