iDroid – WinterBoard Theme

iDroid is a unique theme that is based on the Google Andriod. The theme contains 38 icons, a dock, wallpaper, lockscreen background, badges and other UI mods. The theme is not packaged for the 3.x firmware so, the Text icon is labeled incorrectly. To fix it, you can ssh into the library/Themes/iDroid/Icons folder and change Text.png to Messages.png. I also noticed that one of the screenshots in Cydia shows SpringJumps on the Dock… I haven’t exactly figured that out yet. You can get iDroid via the MacCiti source. [Read more…]
OS v2 – Wallpaper Pack

OS v2 wallpaper pack contains 9, and like v1 of the wallpaper pack, all the wallpapers are OS inspired. Most the wallpapers in this pack are Apple logos however, there are a few random other ones as well (see screenshots below). I’m not overly impressed with this pack of wallpapers but, there might be one in there that you are looking for. Remember, when you install this wallpaper pack, the wallpapers are added to your stock Settings application under Wallpapers. You can get OS v1 via the MacCiti source.
Note: If you would like to manually delete some of the wallpapers once you install the pack, you can ssh into the Library/Wallpapers folder on your iPhone or iPod Touch and delete them from there. [Read more…]

OS v1 is a pack of 10 OS inspired wallpapers. This includes Mac, Windows and Linux wallpapers. There is also a random AT&T wallpaper in there as well. I have seen most of these before but, it’s an easy way to get them onto your iPhone or iPod Touch if you want them. Remember, when you install this wallpaper pack, the wallpapers are added to your stock Settings application under Wallpapers. You can get OS v1 via the MacCiti source.

Oscuro 3.0 is a dark WinterBoard theme that contains 39 icons, dock, wallpaper, lock screen background, sliders, badges, lock screen battery, weather theme and a few other mods. The only problem with this theme is that it really needs to stay on a black background for the icons to display correctly. You can change the background but, it is pretty difficult to see the icons if you do. One good thing about the theme is that it contains a template for the icons (a .psd file). It has been a while since I have seen a decent wallpaper pack but, Artwork and Illustrator was recently released and is pretty good. It contains 11 wallpapers that are either artwork on created in Illustrator. I’m not a fan of all of them but, a few of them are pretty cool. Sam D1 – WinterBoard Theme

Sam D1 is a sleek theme that has semi-transparent icons. The theme contains; three wallpapers, a dock, 284 icons and some UI mods (though, I’m not huge on the UI mods). The theme in it’s original state, is supposed to have all blank icons except for the last column on the page so that you are able to see the wallpaper graphic. But, I don’t really like the wallpaper so I installed Carbon Wallpaper via the PwnCenter source and used it instead. Also, the Stocks icon is not correct. The theme’s folder contains an icon for the Stocks application however, it does not match the theme. Other than that…the icons are pretty cool. You can get Sam D1 via the MacCiti source. [Read more…]
