Dark Blue is a Winterboard theme that contains 59 icons, Dock, wallpaper, lock background, Notes mod, Weather mod, Dialer mod.. etc. The theme does not need any editing on the 3.0 firmware… everything seems to be packaged correctly. You can get Dark Blue via the modmyi source.

How to Install

1. Your device must be jailbroken. (how?)
2. Make sure you have WinterBoard installed via Cydia.
2. Make sure you have the SOS iPhone source installed in Cydia.
3. Search for Picnic-V2 in Cydia, run the install.
4. Open WinterBoard and activate the Picnic-V2 Theme. [Read more…]

Picnic-V2 – WinterBoard Theme

Many of you are probably familiar with the Picnic theme. Recently it was updated to work with the 3.x firmware. The theme includes 393 icons, wallpaper, dock, statusbar, dialer, lock background, loading screens, lock screen battery, pop-up mod, SMS mod, weather mod, badges, sliders (though, the sliders are aligned incorrectly)…etc. It is a well designed theme that was been around for a while now. Soda – WinterBoard Theme

Soda is a WinterBoard theme that contains 40 small icons, 2 docks, 4 wallpapers, badges, and page dots. The theme does install an Extra Icons pack which can also be enabled in WinterBoard. If you are on the 3.x firmware, the Messages icon will not display corrrectly, you will need to ssh into the Library/Themes/Soda.theme/Icons folder and change Text.png to Messages.png. I also noticed that there were a few alternate icons in the Library/Themes/Soda.theme/Icons folder folder. So, you can always check those out as well.

The theme does include a template for the icons (.psd file). If you open the Read Me file, you will find instructions on how to use the template. You can get Soda via the modmyi source. [Read more…]

iFall Theme – WinterBoard Theme

iFall Theme is a theme that contains 35 gray icons, a wallpaper, dock, slider, page dots and status bar. The theme is missing a Maps icon. I checked the file for the theme and it doesn’t seem to include one which is kind of a bummer. The More Info for the theme says that there is a .psd file (template) but, I could find one. Ip_Vez – WinterBoard Theme

Ip_Vez is a colorful WinterBoard theme that contains 20 square icons, a dock and a wallpaper. It isn’t packaged for the 3.0 firmware so, you will need to ssh in to the Library/Themes/Ip_Vez/Icons folder and change Text.png to Messages.png. Also, the iPod icon is named incorrectly so, you will also need to ssh in and change Music.png to iPod.png. Other than that, a decent theme… it makes me feel cheerful and summery. [Read more…]

iPhonePearl – WinterBoard Theme

iPhone Pearl is a purple WinterBoard theme (I know, a little on the girly side but hey, we don’t want boy themes on our iPhone all the time!) that contains a dock, wallpaper, status bar, badges and 172 icons. Oscuro 3.0 – WinterBoard Theme

Oscuro 3.0 is a dark WinterBoard theme that contains 39 icons, dock, wallpaper, lock screen background, sliders, badges, lock screen battery, weather theme and a few other mods. The only problem with this theme is that it really needs to stay on a black background for the icons to display correctly. You can change the background but, it is pretty difficult to see the icons if you do. One good thing about the theme is that it contains a template for the icons (a .psd file). Ghost Ice – WinterBoard Theme

Ghost Ice is a WinterBoard theme that contains a wallpaper, dock, sliders, lock screen background, 42 icons, lock screen battery and a few other small mods. As with most themes, this one does take a little ssh work to get it to look completely correct. Because this theme is from a primarily French repository, some of the icons need to be renamed (from French to English). You can ssh into the Library/Themes/Ghost-Ice.theme/Icons folder and rename the following three icons; Calendrier to Calendar, Horloge to Clock and Appareil photo to Camera.
