Matte Nano – WinterBoard Theme

Available In: Cydia       Price: Free

Matte Nano mattenanano4 Matte Nano is a WinterBoard Theme that contains a wallpaper, dock, badges, status bar and 2,295 icons (though, a lot of those are duplicate icons). The theme folder also contains an icon template (a .psd file) located in the Library/Themes/Matte Nano/Icons folder. One cool thing about this theme is that it resizes all icons, even if they do not have an actual icon created for the theme, that way at least all your icons are the same size. To make this theme even more complete, you can install Matte UI Graphite and Matte SBSettings. When you have all three mods installed it is a nice, complete theme. You can get Matte Nano and Matte UI Graphite via the modmyi source. You can get Matte SBSettings via the SOS iPhone source. [Read more…]

Ghost Ice – WinterBoard Theme

Available In: Cydia       Price: Free

Ghost Ice ghosticetheme4 Ghost Ice is a WinterBoard theme that contains a wallpaper, dock, sliders, lock screen background, 42 icons, lock screen battery and a few other small mods. As with most themes, this one does take a little ssh work to get it to look completely correct. Because this theme is from a primarily French repository, some of the icons need to be renamed (from French to English). You can ssh into the Library/Themes/Ghost-Ice.theme/Icons folder and rename the following three icons; Calendrier to Calendar, Horloge to Clock and Appareil photo to Camera. Once that is done, everything should look correct. You can get Ghost Ice via the SOSiPhone source [Read more…]

Cubez – WinterBoard Theme

Available In: Cydia       Price: Free

Cubes img_1141 Cubez is a cube style WinterBoard theme. I actually received an email about this theme a few weeks ago…and now it has made it’s way to Cydia. The icons are little cubes (which I must say are very cute!). The theme doesn’t seem to contains a lot…some icons, a wallpaper and badges. The one catch to this theme is that you need to turn on Transparent Dock in order for it to look correct. This is because the dock is part of the wallpaper. You can get Cubez via the SOSiPhone source. [Read more…]

iDial 1.0.0

iDial Sick of your boring stock dialer keypad? Well, here is an app that gives you some variety…an old school dialer….and when I say old school, I mean OLD SCHOOL! When you install iDial it will add the iDial app to your SpringBoard. Once you have found the app on your SpringBoard, just tap on it and it will open to a rotary style phone. To dial…just tap on the number to want to dial and drag it around to the mark (you know…like back in the day)! It even makes the right sound! As you dial a number is will show up in the middle of the screen and the complete number you are dialing will show at the top…once you have the number entered, just tap the Call button to call it. The phone number at the top, is not displayed with dashes or spaces (probably so it works internationally). Now, as cool as this dialer is… [Read more…]

ContactFlow 0.95

Which is pretty cool…better than your finger cramping from too much scrolling!! Also, when you tap on a contact… [Read more…]

ContactFlow 0.93

ContactFlow I was actually surprised by the amount of changes that came with version 0.93 of ContactFlow. The app now opens with only the Contacts that have photos…instead of opening with all your contacts and putting the iPod Girl image in for the ones that did not have photos. There are also some new options in the menu; you can select for the app to show all your contacts (but instead of the iPod Girl you get a white screen with the silhouette of a person…I personally like it much better then the iPod Girl…she clashed with the rest of my iPhone) and you can choose to order the contacts by First name or by Last name. Also, [Read more…]

ContactFlow 0.9b

ContactFlow Dude…version 0.9b of ContactFlow is sooo sweet!! Now, when you open the app it opens directly to the photos of your Contacts (instead of a menu like in the previous version). If you don’t have a photo for a contact it just gives you the same iPod girl image as before. What is cool is that when you tap on a photo…it flips over and displays all the phone numbers you have entered for that contact as well as their email address…just tap on the number you would like to call and it will call it or tap an email address and it will open a new email to that Contact (just tap the arrow in the upper right corner to flip the Contact back over). What is even cooler is [Read more…]

ContactFlow 0.4

ContactFlow This is a pretty cool new app! Think AppFlow (now XLaunch) only with your contacts! ContactFlow opens to this SWEET Cover Flow style contact list of your contacts photos. You can then tap on a photo and call that contact. When you tap on a photo…you will get a pop-up giving you the available numbers for that contact and the option to cancel…just tap on the option you would like. After the call is finished it will bring you back to the ContactFlow app. This app is actually in a French source but…the app itself is in English…so it’s all good. This app worked great on 1.1.3 however, [Read more…]
