Another unique element is that each letter is given a point value (think Scrabble) which allows you to strategically create words worth more points. Backgrounder, a mod that allows applications to run in the background, has been updated to version svn.r295. The update redesigns the application’s settings, adds a few new features as well as contains a bug fix (see full change log below).
One new feature is the ability to turn off the badge icon for applications that are not backgrounded by the Backgrounder app itself. This would be applications that run in the background without the need for Backgrounder such as Phone, Mail, Safari, iPod… etc. You can turn this option off in under the Global option in the application.

A few weeks ago, we told you that Godzilab had announced a new physics game, iBlast Moki. The game hit the App Store late last week. I had a chance to test it out all week-end and I was not disappointed!
I am normally not too attracted to physics games (unlike Doug who LOVES them) usually due to the fact that they frustrate me to no end! So, when I downloaded iBlast Moki, I wasn’t sure how much I was going to enjoy the game but I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Read more

Yumsters! 2, a puzzle game by G5 Entertainment, has recently hit the App Store. Many of you may be familiar with the PC version of the game. The iPhone game has the same concept as the PC version… drag a Yumster to the fruit of the same color to start eating.
When I first took a look at Yumster! 2, I was slightly skeptical, I was not sure that it would give me the challenge I normally look for in a puzzle game. However, after the first few levels, I realized it was holding my interest a lot longer than I had expected. The object of the game is to drag a Yumster to the fruit that is the same color as the Yumster. A specific number of fruit is displayed in the taskbar at the top left of the play screen. You have to eat the fruit displayed it the taskbar before it scrolls to the end… if you have not eaten the fruit, it will drop onto the play field. Each fruit you eat gives you coins. At the end of each level your coins are added up. Read more
