A few weeks ago, we told you that Godzilab had announced a new physics game, iBlast Moki. The game hit the App Store late last week. I had a chance to test it out all week-end and I was not disappointed!

G5 Entertainment Launches Yumsters! 2 – Puzzle Game

Yumsters! 2, a puzzle game by G5 Entertainment, has recently hit the App Store. Many of you may be familiar with the PC version of the game. The iPhone game has the same concept as the PC version… drag a Yumster to the fruit of the same color to start eating.
When I first took a look at Yumster! 2, I was slightly skeptical, I was not sure that it would give me the challenge I normally look for in a puzzle game. However, after the first few levels, I realized it was holding my interest a lot longer than I had expected. The object of the game is to drag a Yumster to the fruit that is the same color as the Yumster. A specific number of fruit is displayed in the taskbar at the top left of the play screen. You have to eat the fruit displayed it the taskbar before it scrolls to the end… if you have not eaten the fruit, it will drop onto the play field. Each fruit you eat gives you coins. reQall and Evernote Team Up

It seems that the developers of Evernote (an app that allows you to easily capture information in any environment, and makes this information accessible and searchable at any time, from anywhere) and eQall (a voice-enabled memory aid that seamlessly integrates your iPhone, email, text messaging and IM into a powerful organizer, reminder system and productivity assistant) are teaming up and integrating the apps.

New App Store Feature – Top Grossing (no upgrade required)
A new feature has been added to the App Store, Top Grossing. Top Grossing displays the top 25 (or 50) grossing apps in the App Store. Currently MADDEN NFL 10 is the number one grossing application… and it was just released yesterday!
You do not need to upgrade to the 3.1 firmware or to iTunes 9 in order to see the new feature. Just head over to the App Store application and select the Top 25 option on the lower menu bar. Genius Recommendations for Apps – Overview
Genius Recommendations for Applications is a new feature of the 3.1 firmware. This feature makes recommendations for new apps based on the apps you already own. It will give you a list of recommended apps and why they have recommended them.
Once you have updated your device, you can go into the App Store application and then the Featured option on the lower menu bar. Once in the Featured option, there will be a new tab at the top of the page titled Genius (it is located next to New and What’s Hot). [Read more…]
Pay Off Debt – Easily Implement a Snowball

Pay Off Debt is a debt application that helps you to pay off your debts quicker by giving you the option to implement a snowball.
The application allows you to enter information about all of your current debt such as; Name, Type of Debt (Credit Card, Car Loan, Generic Debt, Mortgage/HELOC and Student Loan), Amount Owed (this is the original amount of the debt), Current Balance (what you have left to pay of the debt), Interest Rate (APR), Due Date (due date of the month payment) and the Minimum Monthly Payment.
What I like about that application is that it is quick and easy to enter your debt info… a very user-friendly interface. If you have a lot of debt, it could seem like a daunting task but, it really only takes a few minutes as long as you have the info handy. [Read more…]

Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D is now $2.99 down from $5.99. If you have yet to pick up the app, you could always do it while it’s cheap. No info on if it is a permanent price drop or just a sale though, I’m going with a permanent price drop on this one.
iPhone Application Sketch Book
The iPhone Application Sketch Book, by Kapsoft, is book that allows developers to sketch and make screen-by-screen notes as they develop their applications. The sketch book contains 100 pages that include a to-scale image of an iPhone surrounded by graph paper, allowing the developer draw out to-scale details of each screen as it is developed.
At the top of every page is the ability to write the application’s name, the specific screen name and include any notes for that page. It is soft cover and spiral bound to make sketching easy and comfortable. The sketch book retails for $14.99. See images and demo video below.

TaskList – Simple List of All Running Processes

TaskList is an application that when open, gives you a list of everything that is running on your iPhone or iPod Touch. Nothing fancy, just a textual list of processes that is running. It includes all the kernel and user processes running in the background. You can get TaskList via the BigBoss source.

PrivaCy – Keep App Store Apps From Tracking Your Personal Information

Saurik recently released an application in Cydia called PrivaCy. PrivaCy is an application that allows you to “selectively opt-out of sending anonymous usage statistics” to certain providers such as; Flurry, Medialets, Mobclix and Pinch Media. According to a recent post by the Dev-Team, there is some concern over App Store applications that track the user’s information including; usage and geo location. BillMinder 2.0 – Coming Soon

BillMinder a, feature-packed, personal bill assistant, is being updated to version 2.0. The update includes a nice user interface update as well as some cool new features that are yet to be disclosed. I had a chance to check out version 2.0 of the app and was impressed with the functionality of the app… I think I have finally found the bill organizing app I have been looking for! The app is currently $0.99 and the upgrade to version 2.0 will be free for those who have already purchased the application.
