It usually takes 2-3 weeks for an app to be approved by Apple. We will see if this one gets through faster or not. I don’t know about you guys but, I’m totally stoked for the “new” facebook app! More details are to come later this week! [Read more…]

The feature will allow customers to take a picture of both the front and the back of the check (with the iPhone’s built-in camera) and have the check automatically deposited into their bank account. If you also have kids you love balloon animals… you will want to check out Balloonimals.

Dock (an application launching utility) on 3.0 Firmware

Available In: Cydia       Price: Free

Dock It has been a long time (and when I say long time… I’m talking like August 19th of 2008 long time) since I have done a review of Dock, an application that allows you to launch other applications. Honestly, I didn’t even know if it was working on the 3.0 firmware so I decided to give it a shot and, apparently it does work on 3.0. I do think however, that this app has been through more transformations than any other app!

To use Dock, you just drag your finger up from the bottom right corner (or left… depending on your settings) to the middle of your iPhone or iPod Touch’s screen. This will bring up a list of applications. You can then drag your finger up and down to scroll through the applications. Once you are on the app that you would like to launch, just let go and it will launch. You can choose the applications you would like in each Dock via the apps settings. [Read more…]

Lockdown – Password Protect Your Applications

Available In: Cydia       Price: Free

Lockdown Lockdown, is an application that allows you to password protect other applications (stock, App Store and jailbroke) on your iPhone or iPod Touch. I haven’t done a review of this Lockdown since it was first released. However, I received an email saying that it has been updated and is now working with the 3.0 firmware (which it is).

The UI of the app has changed a little since my first review of the app but, other than that…it is basically the same. You are able to password protect stock, App Store and jailbroke apps that are on your device. Backgrounder Update

Available In: Cydia       Price: Free

Backgrounder When I saw an update to Backgrounder, a mod that allows apps to run in the background, I was like…YES! I thought we were going to get some of the old features back but, the update just fixes a bug in which some apps were not restoring properly. I know, I was totally bummed too. I could really use the SpringBoard badge that indicates when an app is running…I have a feeling I have left a few running on accident! You can get Backgrounder via the BigBoss source. [Read more…]
