IconMaker is a pretty cool application that allows you to quickly create custom icons right from your device. It turns images into nice shiny, rounded icons. Personally, this is an awesome application for me. I create icons all the time and now, instead of opening Photoshop on my computer and creating an icon, I can create it right on my iPhone!

CustomBadges is an application that allows you to create custom badges… go figure! :) A custom badge can be added to any icon on your SpringBoard and can include; text, numbers, emojis, symbols… basically anything on your keyboard. It seems like it fits best to have a custom badge that is five characters or less. Once you have more than five characters it does not display correctly.

Ok, I have to admit that I am mysteriously intrigued by people who can twist and intertwine balloons without popping them. Not only that but, I’m always surprised at how fairly representative they are of the real thing. As much as I am intrigued by balloon animals, I can tell you that my two and half year old son is even more so than I am! Ok, iBlank has been out for some time now however, it has been a while since I have done a review of it. With all the iNav inspired themes lately, I thought it would be good to do another review of iBlank since it has had some updates since the last time I wrote about it. Most iNav themes seem to install blank icons or web clips when you install/activate the theme. Well, last night, I was settings up a slightly tedious iNav theme (which I will do a review of soon) that did not install blank icon automatically so, I had to use the iBlank application.
iBlank allows you to create blank icons. You can create 1 to 16 blank icons at a time. If you need more than 16 icons you can choose 16, wait for them to be created, choose 16 again, wait for them to be created and so on until you have as many as you need. What I really like about iBlank is that you can also quickly delete all your blank icons at once! If you create blank icons (they are technically web clips) using iBlank you can either delete them individually in “wiggle” mode or all at once using the iBlank application. [Read more…]
Today, version 2.87 of Ringtones showed up in my Installer in Recent Packages. However, version 2.87 of Ringtones has already been released (a month ago!). I did notice that when I installed the “update” it changed the application icon. There are no other visual changes to the application so, I’m not really sure what the deal is…maybe just an icon update. You can get Ringtones via the Skrew source.
PocketMac RingtoneStudio for iPhone is an application that allows you to create ringtones for your iPhone from a variety of multimedia files. You are able to create ringtones from sound affects, QuickTime videos, Mac friendly movie files and unprotected iTunes music files. One nice thing about PocketMac RingtoneStudio for iPhone is that it is available to everyone with an iPhone…no jailbreaking required.
