The update to version 4.40 of Touchpad Pro add a pretty cool new feature…accelerometer support. Here is how it works, “To enable the accelerometer (”tilt” mode), launch the remote control and then scroll to the rightmost remote page.” I know quite a few of you use this application…let us know in the comments what you think of the update. Touchpad Pro is available through the BigBoss source.
The update to version 4.32 of Touchpad Pro makes one change to the application. This is the change, according to the developer (via the source’s website), “I found out that lots of people don’t know you can scroll the remote horizontally. So in this release, the first time the remote control view shows up, it scrolls in, which will suggest to users how to access the other remote pages.” Touchpad Pro is available through the BigBoss source.
The update to version 4.21 of Touchpad Pro fixes a bug. In the previous version of this application when you used the volume control while in the application, it affected the main volume. Version 4.21 fixes it so that when you use the volume buttons, it will not change the system volume. Touchpad Pro is available through the BigBoss source.
According to the developer, the update to Touchpad Pro “…fixed a bug where for large monitors (eg Apple 30″) with very large vertical resolutions, you couldn’t scroll below a certain threshold.” Hopefully the fix will help some of you! I do not have a monitor large enough to test it out on so, you will have to let me know in the comments if the fix is working correctly! Touchpad Pro is available through the BigBoss source.
Version 4.0 of TouchPad Pro adds a new ScreenView feature! You are now able to see what you are controlling with your iPhone, on your iPhone! So, instead of just a blank screen with controls on it….you actually see the screen of what you are controlling! However, this feature is only available through activating the app. Activation costs $15. Check out the video below for a demo of what the ScreenView feature looks like. TouchPad Pro is available through the BigBoss source.
This is a nice update to the original Touchpad that adds amazing features to the app. First off, the app is a lot more responsive and accurate. The mouse glides across the screen a lot smoother and is not jumpy like the older version. Features added include:
*Remote – allows you to arrow through icons on your desktop and select them, or arrow through text and edit it.
*Keyboard – allows typing
*Shift – for shift clicking icons/applications
