SlingPlayer Mobile, an application that allows you to “watch and control your home TV and DVR on your iPhone or iPod touch,” was updated today to version 1.2. The update does one thing, it adds the long awaited feature of streaming over 3G! YAY! Some of you probably already have this feature using a hack however, those unjailbroken folks are now able to stream over 3G as well!

I use my iPhone quite often while cooking and more than once I have looked down to see my delightful iPhone covered in flour or streaked with egg (I know… tragic!).
This past week-end Doug and I hosted a tech party. Yep, you read that right, a tech party. You know, the kind where there is an Xbox in one corner (projected on the wall) a Wii in another corner (also projected on the wall), a 24″ iMac running games, a few random laptops laying around and of course lots of food.

Verizon Preparing Network for 2010 iPhone

Verizon Wireless Chief Technology Officer, Anthony Melone, was recently interviewed by businessweek.com about the future of the iPhone coming to Verizon. Melone is quoted saying, “”We have put things in place already,” and “We are prepared to support that traffic.” If you read the entire article you’ll catch that Verizon isn’t expecting the iPhone for sure, they’re just stating they are prepared if Apple decides to use other carriers than AT&T. There have been many rumors over the years that Verizon would get the iPhone but we’ll have to wait until about the 3rd quarter before we know for sure.

Endless Walls is a pretty cool wallpaper application. When you first open the application, it does require you to create an account (or log in if you already have an account) though the process is quick and easy.
Once signed in, the app will automatically begin displaying wallpapers. You can pause the automatic slide-show of wallpapers by tapping the pause button on the lower menu bar.
