Talking Spanish PhraseBook is a handy little application that translates common English phrases into Spanish. The best part about the application is that you are able to play audio of the Spanish translation. When you open the application you will get a list of topics that include; Essentials, Travel, Accommodation, Food and Drink, Socializing, Shopping, Medical, Dates and Time, Numbers, Emergencies and Copyright Info. What about the iPod Touch?

There is a lot of talk about the iPhone 3G today but what about the iPod Touch? Well we did learn that to upgrade your iPod Touch to the 2.0 firmware will be $9.95. I’m really surprised Apple is charging for this. This mean you’ll have to pay for the App Store and then pay for apps. I know there are other features but this is still not kewl. Luckily the price isn’t that bad and I’d be willing to pay for the upgrade. Speaking of the Touch, since we saved more than needed for an iPhone, we’ll be buying an iPod Touch so we can keep all of those who have them up-to-date on what new and old apps work on the Touch. MyMedia 0.903

MyMedia The update to MyMedia adds additional language compatibility. On the main Info screen you will notice six flags representing the language that are supported, they include; French, English, German, Italian and Korean. Another new feature is in the Download section, you will now see a MediaCache options which you then have to select to get the list of files in your media cache. This makes it a little easier to pull the files off.

iPod Touch gets Mail, Maps, Webclips, Stocks, Weather, & Notes – $20

It’s about time but for $20? I’m pretty sure I’ve seen these apps hacked to work on the iPod Touch from Installer.app but now it’s not there so it may have been removed. If anyone has tried it let us know. Although, if your Touch isn’t hacked then it’s worth the $20.
