Oh boy, he is at it again… the Will It Blend guy has tried his hand at blending the iPad. I distinctly remember watching aghast as he blended an iPhone two years ago. For those of you sick of all the iPad talk… you might enjoy watching this video. Personally, it made me cringe a little. Especially at the beginning!

This has been a hack that many have been wanting for a long time. Now you can rotate your iPhone and the homescreen will rotate too. This was tested on a 1st Gen iPhone so it’s a little slow but not bad. I recorded a video of the mod using my iPhone 3GS:

Before everyone else starts getting their iPads delivered, PC Magazine has got theirs and they already have a video review out. This video just proves, again, that the device is fast! It’s also got a few quick shots of accessories and apps for the iPad. Check out the video:

GeoHot has done it again. In the video below, GeoHot shows an untethered iPod touch with a background image on the homescreen. He also holds down the home button to activate voice command to show that it’s newer firmware. Next he reboots the device showing that the jailbreak remains. Since he says on his blog that it will “probably” work on the iPad too, he will probably wait to release it when the iPad comes out so Apple can’t make a fix for it before it’s released.
The jailbreak is all software based, and is as simple to use as blackra1n. It is completely untethered, works on all current tethered models(ipt2, 3gs, ipt3), and will probably work on iPad too.
Don’t ask about a release date. You won’t make it happen any sooner.

I have wanted a hack for this for a long time and I’m so glad to finally have it. I think it’s worth the $0.99. It allows you to add scrolling to your dock. This way not only do the icons on your sprinboard scroll left and right, but the icons at the bottom can do this too, independently. There are even more control in the settings that allows you to choose how many icons are on a page, if it scrolls with snapping like your normal springboard or just slide through them without snapping and paging. This is obviously not official but it’s the clip at the end that gets me pretty excited. I really hope that Apple released the next iPhone to have video chat. It would be a great feature that would blow away competition. I don’t really think Apple will change the overall design of the iPhone to something like this shape and color. I’m hoping for front facing camera, larger megapixel rear camera, a flash, zoom, & 1Ghz processor, better battery and maybe some of the new features of the iPad firmware. Any other features on your wish list?
