Instagram is by far my new favorite image sharing/networking app! I love everything about the application… I love that it will share images to multiple places at once (Twitter, Facebook, Email, Flickr, Tumblr, Foursquare and Posterous), I love the photo filters… they are some of the best I have seen, I love that the networking part of the app is fun and easy to use, I love how well designed the overall application is and I love that it is free! :)

Battery Control, an application that allows you to control your Status bar battery image and percentage, was updated. I actually haven’t reviewed this app since it was first released so, I thought I would catch it up since it has had some pretty cool updates.
When the app was first released, it was pretty basic, it only contained a few features… the ability to turn on/off Show Battery and turn on/off Show Percentage. Since then, an Accuracy feature has been added that allows you to choose if you want the accuracy of your battery percentage to be based on the official SDK or based on more accurate battery percentages like SBSettings numeric battery or the default setting. Now here is a cool mod for you! “As soon as you take a screenshot of your iPhone screen using the home/power quick tap method, QuickShottr uploads it directly to ImageShack and copies the link to the image into your clipboard, so you can paste it in any application you want.” Yep, that’s right…take a screenshot, it uploads it to ImageShack, it instantly puts the link in your clipboard and you can paste it anywhere!
