Facebook was updated to version 3.02. The update has bug fixes and adds VoiceOver accessibility support.
After you update to 3.02, you may see a black bar on the home screen of the app. This is a slight bug. The black bar will go away if you do not use the application for one hour… yep, just let the app sit there unopened for an hour and it will go away. Battery Control, an application that allows you to control your Status bar battery image and percentage, was updated. I actually haven’t reviewed this app since it was first released so, I thought I would catch it up since it has had some pretty cool updates.
When the app was first released, it was pretty basic, it only contained a few features… the ability to turn on/off Show Battery and turn on/off Show Percentage. Since then, an Accuracy feature has been added that allows you to choose if you want the accuracy of your battery percentage to be based on the official SDK or based on more accurate battery percentages like SBSettings numeric battery or the default setting. Battery Control is a simple application that allows you to turn on/off the Statusbar battery icon and the Statusbar battery percentage. Once the app is installed, it is added as an option in the stock Settings application. The app gives you two options, turn on/off Show Battery and turn on/off Show Percentage.
A simple application but, I think one of the only that allows you to turn off the battery icon and still leave the battery percentage. Doug like that he can turn off the battery icon and have some additional space on his statusbar. You can get Battery Control via modmyi source.

Below are a few mods that change the color of your download progress fill bar when you are installing an application from the App Store. Not to be confused with the Safari Progress Bar mod. There are a few colors available for this mod. One packages titled Progress Colors allow you the ability to to change your progress bar yellow, red, purple, orange, green, black or cool gray. Do Not Touch Me is a pretty cool status bar notifier mod. It changes the icons that normally show up on your status bar to words (mail, sms and call). It also adds icons to your lock screen notifying you that you have a missed call, text or an unread email. The mod comes in both white and black and is activated via WinterBoard. If you are not a huge fan of the lock screen wallpaper that comes with the mod, you can choose User Lock Background in WinterBoard and move it above Do Not Touch Me and it will use your wallpaper instead of the wallpaper that comes with the mod (see screenshots below).

Haha…I saw this in Cydia and just had to check it out! WiFi Blobs is a mod that changes your WiFi signal strength bars to these little “blobs.” The “blobs” are made up of three colors; green, yellow and red. If you have full WiFi signal, you get all three colors. If you have a decent WiFi signal, you will get the yellow and red blobs and if you have a low WiFi signal you will get only the red blob. I honestly think they are kind of cute. They don’t really fit with my theme but, if you have a theme they will work with…you might want to check them out!
