We’ve been having issues not being able to add new posts to our forum. Viewers could comment on others, but not create a new post. I’ve discovered it was an update to MySQL on our server and I had to run a little repair on the database for the forum. To make a long story short, it’s fixed! Thanks to those who let me know!

Overboard – View SpringBoard Pages Exposé style

Overboard, a mod that allows you to view your SpringBoard pages Exposé style, was recently released in Cydia. If you are thinking that this app looks familiar… it’s because it does. Overboard is very similar to Orbit, by Steven Troughton-Smith, which was released last month.

However, Overboard does provide a bit more functionality. It allows the user to choose the launch method for the Exposé view (Home Button, SpringBoard Icon or SpringBoard Pinch), it allows the user to choose the number of columns displayed, it supports WinterBoard themes, it allows you to search for an app while in Exposé view and allows you to turn on/off the Dock while in the Exposé view. Overboard also seems to perform better than Orbit.

jQTouch – What You Can Really Do With Safari On The iPhone

The Developers of jQTouch describe it as “A jQuery plugin for mobile web development on the iPhone, iPod Touch, and other forward-thinking devices.” In English, that means they have a sweet development kit to help web app developers create awesome interfaces in Safari. There isn’t an easy way to describe it all so here are a bunch of great videos demoing what can be done with jQTouch in Safari.

EA Mobile’s Monopoly Hits App Store

Yesterday Monopoly, by EA Mobile, hit the App Store. It is based off the classic Monopoly game and includes everything from buying, selling and trading property to multiple difficulty levels to multiplayer mode (via WiFi or BlueTooth). Facebook iPhone App Experiencing Connection Issues (It’s Not Just You)

My grandma has been texting me for the past couple days asking me to help her fix her Facebook iPhone App. She said it’s not refreshing her news feed and can’t see people’s walls. I told her to shake it (that forces the app to refresh.) It didn’t work. Then I noticed I am having the same issues. Have you been experiencing problems? Let us know in the comments. Multiflow – Multitasking Application {Updated}

Multiflow is a multitasking application. The app uses Backgrounder to start applications running in the background and then allows you to view and switch between the apps that are running in the background. It basically puts a GUI on the Backgrounder utility. Check out the demo video below.

This reminds me of an application that Steven Troughton-Smith (the developer of Stack and Orbit) posted a screenshot of last month.

Friday Night Movie Night: Touch DJ – Pro Level MP3 DJ Mixing

Tonight, my wife and I went to dinner with friends, one being a local radio station manager. He was telling me one of his employees was super excited about a DJ app that was released recently. He said the guy had been waiting for the app and that I should check it out. Well, looking for videos for tonight’s Friday Night Movie Night I just happened to run across the same app and I’m telling you, from the video, it looks like it’s worth the $19.99 their asking for it. I’m gonna try hard to get a promo code for this app and get a video review of all it’s features. Being such an expensive app, you need to know what it can do before you buy. Here’s their promo video which is pretty convincing if you’re into this kinda stuff.

According to App Store reviews, this app is horrible, but the videos look convincing! We’re in contact with the developers and we’ll get some promo codes so we can try it out for ourselves and make a video showing how it really works. TomTom Creates Car Kit Giving First Gen iPhone and iPod Touch GPS Capability

Earlier this week, TomTom updated their app allowing the TomTom applications to be installed on the first gen iPhone and the first and second gen iPod touches. Previously, the app could only be installed on the iPhone 3G and 3GS. With the update to the app comes a new product… a TomTom Car Kit for the iPod touch.

The iPod touch Car Kit is priced at $99.95 ($20 less than the iPhone Car Kit). The Kit is currently not available and based on the iPhone Car Kit who knows when they will have it ready! Just kidding! They say it is coming soon and it can already be seen on TomTom’s website.

TwitLock Cydget – Tweet from your Lock Screen

Price: Free

TwitLock is a Cydget that allows you to tweet from your lock screen. Once installed, you can activate it via the stock Settings application under the Cydget.

After you have activated the Cydget, you will need to go to your lock screen. The first time you view TwitLock on your lock screen you are prompted to sign into your twitter account. After you have successfully signed in you are able to post a tweet right from your lock screen.
