iFall Theme is a theme that contains 35 gray icons, a wallpaper, dock, slider, page dots and status bar. The theme is missing a Maps icon. I checked the file for the theme and it doesn’t seem to include one which is kind of a bummer. The More Info for the theme says that there is a .psd file (template) but, I could find one. Ip_Vez is a colorful WinterBoard theme that contains 20 square icons, a dock and a wallpaper. It isn’t packaged for the 3.0 firmware so, you will need to ssh in to the Library/Themes/Ip_Vez/Icons folder and change Text.png to Messages.png. Also, the iPod icon is named incorrectly so, you will also need to ssh in and change Music.png to iPod.png. Other than that, a decent theme… it makes me feel cheerful and summery. [Read more…]

iPhone Pearl is a purple WinterBoard theme (I know, a little on the girly side but hey, we don’t want boy themes on our iPhone all the time!) that contains a dock, wallpaper, status bar, badges and 172 icons. SMS Balloon Colors is an application that will add five SMS balloon themes into WinterBoard. The five color schemes include; Blue & Gray, Lite Blue & Lite Pink, Orange & Yellow, Pink & Purple and Red & Brown. Below are screenshots of each of the color schemes. Live Strong is a simple yellow and black WinterBoard theme that contains 85 icons, a dock and a wallpaper. This theme does not contain any bells and whistles… it’s just the basics but, sometimes less is more! The only thing I would have like to have seen is a matching badge. Other than that… not too bad. Oscuro 3.0 is a dark WinterBoard theme that contains 39 icons, dock, wallpaper, lock screen background, sliders, badges, lock screen battery, weather theme and a few other mods. The only problem with this theme is that it really needs to stay on a black background for the icons to display correctly. You can change the background but, it is pretty difficult to see the icons if you do. One good thing about the theme is that it contains a template for the icons (a .psd file). oGn v3 is a colorful theme that contains 875 square icons, wallpaper, dock, status bar, badges, sliders, SMS bubbles and a few other cool little mods. You can get oGn v3 via the iSpazio source.
How to Install
1. Your device must be jailbroken. (how?)
2. Make sure you have WinterBoard installed via Cydia.
2. Make sure you have the iSpazio source installed in Cydia.
3. Search for oGn v3 in Cydia, run the install.

Ghost Ice is a WinterBoard theme that contains a wallpaper, dock, sliders, lock screen background, 42 icons, lock screen battery and a few other small mods. As with most themes, this one does take a little ssh work to get it to look completely correct. Because this theme is from a primarily French repository, some of the icons need to be renamed (from French to English). You can ssh into the Library/Themes/Ghost-Ice.theme/Icons folder and rename the following three icons; Calendrier to Calendar, Horloge to Clock and Appareil photo to Camera. Scour is a unique WinterBoard theme, nicely designed theme. I haven’t seen one quite like this. It contains; a dock, status bar, wallpaper, badges and 47 icons. There is one problem with this theme, the Weather icon was not packaged correctly and so you will need to ssh in (Library/Themes/Scour/Icons) and change the weather.png icon to Weather.png.
