TriviaBurst is a very cool trivia game that allows for mulitplayer/group play, contains a larger database of questions and provides the user with the ability to submit their own trivia questions.

Frogger, the classic arcade game, is currently on sale from $5.99 to $0.99. The app will be one sale from August 20th(today) until August 22nd. So, you might want to get it while it’s cheap! 
Armoured Shift is a “shoot’em’up” game for the iPhone and iPod touch. The game is said to have a 60 frames per second gameplay, in-game achievements and a 10,000 player on-line leaderboard. It looks well designed and seems to have decent controls. The app is scheduled to be released sometime in September and it will be in the $0.99 – $1.99 price range. I loved this game! Snood! Who else remembers this game? I’ve always thought it would make an awesome iPhone app. So far it’s just a preview. No info on a release date. 
We don’t see a ton of games released in Cydia mostly due to the App Store however, every once in a while, we see a new game in Cydia. Yesterday Circles, a memory game, showed up in Cydia.

Ok, I have to admit that I am mysteriously intrigued by people who can twist and intertwine balloons without popping them. Not only that but, I’m always surprised at how fairly representative they are of the real thing. As much as I am intrigued by balloon animals, I can tell you that my two and half year old son is even more so than I am! If you also have kids you love balloon animals… you will want to check out Balloonimals. 
Readdle has announced the upcoming release of Cannons, a pirate-themed puzzle game. It actually looks like it will be a pretty decent game. Here is a quick description of the game:
HexSet is Connect Four for the iPhone and iPod Touch. I don’t know about you guys but, I love Connect Four! It totally brings me back to the good ol’ days when my sister and I spent many an hour playing Connect Four (we even had a little travel Connect Four game to play in the car)… oh the memories. So, as you can image, I was pretty excited to see HexSet. 
I was late to the Facebook game, and although I do enjoy a good status update every now and then, I am definitely not a FB addict. One of the things I constantly hear from other friends who are self described addicts is how much time they spend playing games online. We’re not talking huge video games like Quake or Call of Duty, but rather simple ones like Boggle or Poker. One of the most popular games was Scrabulous, a Scrabble knockoff that got some interesting press a few months ago when Hasbro decided that they wanted to make some money on their game title. Well, the popular word game (now named Lexulous) has arrived to the iPhone in the form of a native app.
