It seems that Kusari has made it’s way into the App Store. Many of you might remember Kusari as a jailbreak app from firmware 1.1.4 and below. The App Store version of the app has some new Bonuses and Rewards but, the graphics are very similar to what they were as a jailbroke app. So, if you are on 2.0+ and would like to have Kusari back on your iPhone…now you can.
Description: Kusari is an addictive game of speed and cunning. Find chains of counters to clear the board against the clock, working your way through the levels and earning rewards and bonuses to get as many points as you can. Quick thinking and logical reasoning are required in equal measure to get the highest scores!
I was excited to see a new game, Dames – a Checkers application, in Cydia this morning. We haven’t had a ton of new games lately so, I was eager to check it out. However, I cannot seem to get the app to work. When it opens, I get a splashscreen (a very nice looking splashscreen) and then everything goes black. The application stays open, I just get a black screen. I even let it sit for a long time and it didn’t do anything…just stayed on the black screen. I took a look at the app via SSH and it doesn’t look like it is in English…so, I don’t know if that has to do with it or not. 
One of the best, high-quality games back in the 1.1.4 days has been ported to 2.1! This game has always been one of my favorites, and much hasn’t changed since back then. First thing you see is that title screen we all fell in love with. After that, you now see a new level select. Once you select a level, the game overall follows a little story giving you specific items to tap each level. Also, when you tap something, it gives a nice realistic echo of a bullet falling to the floor, which I find really neat and professional. The game overall does get a bit challenging, and is pretty long as well. Other than that, it’s the

rps (Rock, Paper, Scissors) is a game that came out a few days ago in Cydia. It is exactly what it sounds like…the classic rock, paper, scissors game. At first, I was sooo confused on how to play this game, I ended up reading the Help!

Whirlwind21 is basically Blackjack Solitaire. The object of the game is to score as close to 21 as possible in all five rows….without going over 21. When the app opens, you will get the main play screen. At the top of the screen you have the options; New Game and About. New Game will start and new game and About will give your a little info about the game and your High Score. At the bottom of the play screen you can see your current score and how many cards are left before a reshuffle.
