HuaRongDao is available in the Installer.
app through the Ste Packaging or the Soneso Sources. Many of you are wondering what in the world HuaRongDao is. Well actually, you have seen it before…it is just the game BlockPuzzle with a new look. So, if you like BlockPuzzle you might want to check out HuaRongDao to see if you would rather play it with it’s new Chinese motif!! Screenshots below:
There was an update for 4Balls…it adds some cool new features. It now gives you instructions on how to play the game and the first time you get to the play screen it gives you instructions on how to move the balls.
It also says, Thinking, while your iPhone decides where it is going to move. But, the best change in the update, is when someone wins it tells you who won and shows you how they won by putting little red dots on the 4 balls that are in a row.
Before, a window would pop up saying who won and giving you the option to play again and you didn’t really get to see how the player won. To start a new game you just tap on the screen.

In English that means your games are now under lettered categories (see screenshot) and you can browse through them like your contacts by selecting a letter from the far right. There are also nice transitions from the menus to the games with the controller smoothly gliding in.
So it’s prettier and more organized :)
4Balls is a new game from the Soneso source. It is similar to Connect Four. When you first open the app you have an option to play Human vs. human (so 2 player), Human vs. device (which means you get to move first) or Device vs. human (the iPhone gets to move first). You then get the option of what level you would like to play at…one through three…one being the least difficult, three the most difficult. Once you have chosen your level, the game will begin…
in order to play the game correctly you will need to tilt your iPhone to the right so the ball is at the top on the page…you then move the ball above the column you would like it to go in by dragging it. Once the ball is above the correctly column just drag it down. The next player will then move. You win by getting four of your color balls in a row either vertically, horizontally or diagonally (the other player wins by doing the same as well…so you will want to play defense and offense). When one of the players wins a menu will pop up giving you the option to play again. Here are some screenshots:
There was an update yesterday to iSolitaire in the installer.app. I finally had a chance to look at it and it seems they have changed a few things and added a few new features.
There have been a few changes with the themes; greenfelt has been added and is now what used to be the “default” theme and default is now a really cool wood like theme. They also added a donate button to the menu option.
I think the best improvement from the update is that when you tap Deal it brings you immediately back to the play screen.
Before, you would have to tap Deal and then Done.
There has been an update to iSolitaire in the installer.app. The update now allows you to change the Theme of the cards. You just double tap to get into the menu page like always and then pick your theme.
The only two available right now are the default theme and leopard but, I’m sure we will see more to come. Here are some screenshots of the new option:
Man…the app people are on a roll lately. This morning there was an update to Sudoku in the installer.app and it is another great update! With the update, when you tap the “New” button it gives you an option of whether or not you would like a new game before, it would automatically go to a new game.
This is great because if you have spent like half an hour trying to finish the game and the last box is the one just below the “New” button and you accidentally hit the “New” button instead of the little box below it and it automatically gives you a new game when you were just about to win…you might be slightly frustrated (Trust me…I know!!). :)
There was an update last night in the installer.app for iSolitaire. This is a great update! The app now keeps your settings.
Before, you would have to go into the settings and change them back the way you wanted them every time you reopened the app.
Now, when you open the app, it will have kept whatever options you last set.
This is great for me since I like one draw and it used to automatically default back to three draw every time!! So, update away…
iSolitaire just came out with an update to their app.
This update adds an additional option allowing you to display your score. If you choose to display your score, it will show at the bottom of the screen along with the amount of time you have been playing. Here are the screenshots:
Today…a new game was released in the Installer.app…iSolitaire.
This app is exactly as it sounds…solitaire for the iPhone! After tapping on the application it will open to a basic “solitaire” screen. There are a few options in this game.
To see the options, just double tap on any green area of the screen.
You can then select to have a one card draw or a three card draw.
You can also choose to deal again if you get stuck (just a quick note…you have to tap deal and then tap done for it to redeal, it will not bring you back to the main screen automatically when you tap deal). To deal a card, tap on the deck and to move a card where you would like it, just drag it and let go. When you get all the cards in the ace piles, therefore winning, the aces come out from the bottom of the pile and move and bounce around the screen based on how the iPhone is tilted. It is kind of fun! Here are some screenshots:
