MyWoodWall WinterBoard Theme

MyWoodWall mywoodwall4 MyWoodWall is a theme that actually uses one of my favorite icon sets (ChalkWork) from back in the day. The only issue I am having with themes is that I have a hard time making them look good with the WeatherIcon and LiveClock mods. I looked (via ssh) to see if there were any blank icons in the set that I could rename as the Weather or Clock icons but, I didn’t see any. You can get the MyWoodWall theme via the iSpazio source. Chalk Board Theme – WinterBoard Theme

Chalk Board chalkboardtheme3 Chalk Board is a new theme that was released in Cydia tonight. The package includes a lockscreen, sliders, icons, wallpaper, dock and SMS theme. To have the theme looks it’s best, you will want to make sure to have the icon and dock icon labels turned off via WinterBoard (select No Docked Icon Labels and No Undocked Icon Labels in WinterBoard). This theme is currently available via the ModMyi source however, the developer says that it will also be released via the MacCiti source which will be the source it is updated through.

Parts WinterBoard Theme

WinterBoard partstheme2 Parts is a new theme that is avialable via the MacCiti source. It reminds me of a few other of my favorite themes…it has an abstract feel to it. The theme includes the basic mods; wallpaper, icons, dock and status bar. Check it out!

How to Install

1. Your device must be jailbroken. (how?)
2. Make sure you have WinterBoard installed via Cydia.
2. Make sure you have the MacCiti sourceinstalled in Cydia.
3. Search for Parts in Cydia, run the install.
4. Open WinterBoard and activate the Parts theme.

Minhimalist WinterBoard Theme

WinterBoard minhimalist2 Minhimalist is a very simple WinterBoard theme. It is a black and white theme that sports little icons (might be good for all the new five icon mods!). You can also make requests for more icons for the theme at kevindosi.com/iphone.

How to Install

1. Your device must be jailbroken. (how?)
2. Make sure you have WinterBoard installed via Cydia.
2. Make sure you have the ModMyi sourceinstalled in Cydia.
3. Search for Minhimalist in Cydia, run the install.
4. Open WinterBoard and activate the Minhimalist theme.

BlueIslandLock – Lock Screen from the Blue-Island Theme

WinterBoard blueislandlock2 Last week, I wrote about a theme called Blue-Island. The theme itself did not work unless you had a French iPhone or iPod Touch however, you were able to use the lock screen from the theme if you listed things correctly in WinterBoard. Well, it seems the developer has made it easy on us and released just the lock screen part of the theme! Smoog Theme – Background for WeatherIcon Mod

WinterBoard smoogweatherbackground2 It seems that quite a few themes have been getting updated lately to accommodate both the LiveClock and WeatherIcon mods. One theme that I have always been a fan of has received one of these updates! You are now able to install a weather icon for the Smoog theme (via BigBoss) that supports the WeatherIcon mod. The title of the package is Smoog Weather Icon Background and it is available via the david.ashman.com source. If you are also a fan of the LiveClock mod, you can choose the Live lock Dark option in WinterBoard and it looks decent with the theme as well. Though, I would love to see another update that adds an icon that is actually compatible with the LiveClock mod. [Read more…]

Buuf Live Time Theme – WinterBoard Theme

Winterboard buufliveclocktheme I know many of you are fans of the Buuf theme that is available via Cydia. The only downfall with themes lately, is that if you like to use the LiveTime mod (updating Clock icon), you end up with a stock clock icon in with the rest of your themed icons. Well, the Buuf Live Time Theme allows you to have the LiveTime mod with the Buuf clock icon. In order for it to work properly, you will need to have the Buuf Live Time Theme, the LiveTime mod and the Buuf2 theme all activated in WinterBoard…in that order! [Read more…]

WinterBoard Themes – Themes, Key Highlight Mods and a Wallpaper Pack

WinterBoard I’m still catching up on all the themes/mods that have been released lately. But, I got through another section of them and below are a few I thought I would mention. There are 4 themes, 3 key highlight mods and one wallpaper pack. The four themes include; Pump (via Sleepers.net), CLoud9 (via BigBoss), Abeo Alistair (via MacCiti) and Flat (via MacCiti). The key highlight mods will change the color of the keys on the keyboard when you select them. The three shown in the screenshots below include; Purple and Pink Highlight Keys, Camo Highlight Keys and Red and Black Highlight Keys…all of which are available through the Sleepers.net source. I actually really like key highlight mods…it is so weird to see a different color when you type! The wallpaper pack, MoMa Pack 1 (via MacCiti) contains eight unique wallpapers. WinterBoard Mods – Page Dots and Themes

WinterBoard There have been a few new themes in WinterBoard lately. I think there are a couple worth mentioning. The first theme Stormy Black, via modmyi, requires blank icons at the top of each page. You can easily create blank icons using iBlank The second theme Bluebird, via BigBoss, is a clean blue and black theme. The other two mods that I thought I would mention are page dot mods. We do not see a lot of these so, I always like to point them out. Both American Page Dots and Jet Page Dots are available via the Ranbee source. All of these mods are activated using WinterBoard. WinterBoard Themes and Mods

WinterBoard Below are six themes and two mods that have recently been released in Cydia. The six themes include; Patches (via modmyi), iAdobi (via modmyi), Burnt Paper (via modmyi), oGn (via BigBoss), Apple 2009 (via iSpazio) and Apple 2009 Red Edition. The two mods include; Ice Keys (via modmyi) which is a mod that will change the design of the keys on the keyboard when you select them and Smaller Wide Sliders (via modmyi) which your stock slider bars wider. MacCiti Themes – Screenshots of Themes in the MacCiti Source

WinterBoard I recently wrote a post about MacCiti, a new source, which is available for install via Cydia. MacCiti is a theme source which means it contains mostly themes, ringtones and wallpapers. So, I thought I would take a look at what they have to offer.

Honestly, it took WAY longer than I thought to install all the themes, get screenshots of each theme and organize them into a post. So, I apologize for not having this post out sooner. The screenshots are exactly what each theme looks like. I did not do any modding to individual themes which means, I did not turn on the transparent dock or turn off icon labels or check icon files to see if they were spelled wrong if they didn’t show up correctly in the theme. So basically, I didn’t do anything to make the theme look it’s absolute best (which I must add, drove me crazy!!). But, you will see what each theme looks like and it’s potential!
