Well, I cant wait any longer. I was trying to hold out until Installer 4.0 was available on the 2.0 firmware before I started doing reviews of application but, I can’t wait any longer! Many of you who have previously jailbroken iPhones are familiar with Make it Mine by Erica Sadun. It is an application that allows you to easily change your carrier logo to any text that you enter into the application. Well, MIM available on the 2.0 firmware allows you to change the Banner as well. When you open MakeItMine, you will get the main screen. Here you can enter text into the text box. Then select either the Carrier or Banner buttons depending on which you would like to change. 3DZapman is basically a 3D version of PacMan. When you open the application, you will get a splash screen and then the info screen. The info screen will give you your device ID and a place to enter your unlock code if you decide to purchase the full app. The full version of the application is $6.99 USD. However, you can play a demo of the app by selecting the Demo option in the lower right corner. The demo version is restricted to one level and has a time limit.
Once you have select Demo, you will then get a screen with the options; Start Game, Options and Credits. In the Options you have the ability to turn on/off the background and music. You can also adjust the volume of the sound affects. To get back to the main menu, select Back. When you select Start Game, you will be brought to the main play screen.

poddle 2.0

The update to version 2.0 of Poddle adds quite a few new features! When you open the application, you will get a pop-up explaining how to play the game. The appearance of the main screen has not changed a ton however, there are a few new features. You will notice that there are two green pegs in with yellow and blue pegs. The green pegs will explode when your ball hits them and they are worth more points. Another change I noticed is that your high score is displayed on the top right of the screen and your score for the current game is still displayed on the top left of the screen. The New button in the upper right corner now works as well and will start a new game when selected. The Menu option has also been updated. The update to version 1.6 of AppleTap and the quick update to version 1.6.1 make one change to the application and fix a few bugs.

it makes scrolling through the pictures MUCH easier. Instead of tapping once to go to the next picture, double tapping to go back to a previous picture and tapping with two figures to get back to to get back to the previous menu…now you can just scroll through the pictures and double tap to get back to the menu. Trism 0.7.8

The update to version 0.7.8 of Trism finally works!! However, there are no new features and I do not see any visual changes to the application. Trism will still be released via the AppStore but, for now, you can get Trism through the ModMyiFone source.

The update to version 1.1 of MyBattery activates the Settings option. In the previous version of MyBattery, the Settings option was not available yet.

Trism 0.7.6-2

I could not get the update to version 0.7.6-2 of Trism to work properly. I was able to install the application however, when I tried to open the app, it would just hang at the splashscreen. I was not able to get back to the SpringBoard and ended up restarting my iPhone every time. Hopefully we will see any update soon.

SdlRoids is an game base on Asteroids. When you open the application it will take you directly into the game. You move the ship left by tapping on the lower left side of your iPhone’s screen. You move the ship right by tapping on the lower right side of your iPhone’s screen. You shoot by tapping in the lower middle part of your iPhone’s screen and you move forward by tapping anywhere in the upper half of your iPhone’s screen. It took about five minutes of Doug explaining this application to me before I got it and I’m still not sure I totally understand. But, as you all know, I’m not huge on shooter games (crazy boys)! AgileMessenger 1.0.20

The only change I notice with the update to version 1.0.20 of AgileMessenger is that there is now a Code Page option in the Preferences feature in the main menu. It allows you to change the national character encoding option for ICQ. When selected, you will get a list of all the Code Page options. Let me know in the comments about any other changes you might see. AgileMessenger is available through the ModMyiFone source.
