Connected is a highly entertaining puzzle game that is a unique blend of ParkingLot and RailWater. The object of the game is to connect the two pipes by correctly arranging the pieces of pipe provided. This seems like a simple enough task except that each pipe can only be moved into spaces not already occupied by another pipe.
The game has 4 levels each of which contain 10 games so, 40 games in all… with a promise of additional editions of the game coming soon. Each level gets progressively more difficult and thus more addictive! The developer even lays out a challenge to anyone who can complete level 40; “If you can complete puzzle 40 let us know. Email connectedapp@me.com with your name, location, and a screenshot to prove it, and we’ll add you to our Connected hall of fame. Aera is casual flight simulator that everyone will enjoy. It introduces a unique mix of side-scroller and flight simulator. The game as contains many play modes including; Campaign, QuickGame and Missions.
There are three types of missions; solo/aerobatic, dogfight and race. As you progresss in the Campaign mode, you unlock new planes and advance to new locations which can then be used in the QuickGame mode. Additionally, there is a FreeFlight mode which allows you to relax and just enjoy your plane and the view. Each mission you play can be watched afterwards in KINO (playback mode) – you can pause, rotate camera to look at different angles, fast-forward, etc. The game also contains a step-by-step tutorial and three difficulty levels. A new feature has been added to the App Store, Top Grossing. Top Grossing displays the top 25 (or 50) grossing apps in the App Store. Currently MADDEN NFL 10 is the number one grossing application… and it was just released yesterday!

iBlast Moki, by Godzilab, is a physics puzzle game for iPhone and iPod Touch developed. The goal of the game is to blast the little Mokis into the portal with the help of bombs. Throughout the game you are able to unlock new items like ropes, rising balloons and rotating wheels. There are six different worlds each containing unique gameplay mechanics like moving obstacles, rotating doors and floating in water. Yahoo Releases Offical Flickr Application in App Store

Today, yahoo released an official Flickr application. the app is well designed for the iPhone and iPod touch and does allow for some basic Flickr functionality. The first time you open the app, you will need to login to your account and authorize the application. These are both done in Safari… it would have been nice if it would have been built into the app.
Once you are all setup you can view your photo stream, tags, sets, favorites, contacts, recent activity, leave comments, search Flickr, mark images as favorites, upload photos and videos, edit photos and videos…etc (check out the App Store description below). [Read more…]

Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D is now $2.99 down from $5.99. If you have yet to pick up the app, you could always do it while it’s cheap. No info on if it is a permanent price drop or just a sale though, I’m going with a permanent price drop on this one.
