Apple to Sell $99 8GB iPhone 3GS?

There’s not much info for this rumor, but someone started it, so here it is: Apple will sell an 8GB version of the iPhone 3GS for $99. Currently you can only get the 3GS is sizes as low as 16GB. Having 8GB of space on the iPhone 3GS is pushing it. You have your music, videos & apps. Then you add pictures using the bigger 3MP camera & videos of 640×480 at 30fps you’re going to eat up space quick. Either way, a cheaper iPhone with all the power will be a better choice versus the competition.
8GB iPhone 3GS Confirmed?

Last week, I wrote about a rumor that strongly indicated the release of an 8GB iPhone 3GS. Well, it seems that the guys over at MacRumors have confirmed this rumor. Apparently, on Roger’s website, there is now a comparison of the iPhone 3GS that includes an 8GB version of the phone.

3G iPhone Pictures with Video Chat

CrunchGear has posted some 3G iPhone pictures that include screenshots of video chat and a red version. They also have screenshots of text that they believe proves iChat is coming to Windows.

3G iPhone to be released at WWDC June 9th

If you read our news page you already know most of this info because everyone is talking about it. Now of course Apple hasn’t announced this but there are so many signs like this internal memo from UK carrier O2:
“Due to the highly successful sales of the Apple 8GB iPhone, supply chains have run out of stock and will not be replenishing stock of this product as it has now gone to end of life.”
The 3G iPhone will most likely be announced during the WWDC, June 9th – 13th with sizes of 16GB & 32GB and minor design changes. Rumor lists include true GPS, thinner design and camera in front (video chat).
