Oscuro 3.0 – WinterBoard Theme

Oscuro 3.0 oscuro302 Oscuro 3.0 is a dark WinterBoard theme that contains 39 icons, dock, wallpaper, lock screen background, sliders, badges, lock screen battery, weather theme and a few other mods. The only problem with this theme is that it really needs to stay on a black background for the icons to display correctly. You can change the background but, it is pretty difficult to see the icons if you do. One good thing about the theme is that it contains a template for the icons (a .psd file). If you would like to get the file, you can ssh into the Library/Themes/Oscuro [Krs] folder and you will find it there. Oscuro 3.0 is available via the MacCiti source. [Read more…]

How to Install

1. Your device must be jailbroken. (how?)
2. Make sure you have WinterBoard installed via Cydia.
2. Make sure you have the iSpazio source installed in Cydia.
3. Search for oGn v3 in Cydia, run the install.
4. Open WinterBoard and activate the oGn v3 Theme. [Read more…]

Ghost Ice – WinterBoard Theme

Ghost Ice ghosticetheme4 Ghost Ice is a WinterBoard theme that contains a wallpaper, dock, sliders, lock screen background, 42 icons, lock screen battery and a few other small mods. As with most themes, this one does take a little ssh work to get it to look completely correct. Because this theme is from a primarily French repository, some of the icons need to be renamed (from French to English). You can ssh into the Library/Themes/Ghost-Ice.theme/Icons folder and rename the following three icons; Calendrier to Calendar, Horloge to Clock and Appareil photo to Camera. Sam D1 – WinterBoard Theme

Sam D1 samditheme5 Sam D1 is a sleek theme that has semi-transparent icons. The theme contains; three wallpapers, a dock, 284 icons and some UI mods (though, I’m not huge on the UI mods). The theme in it’s original state, is supposed to have all blank icons except for the last column on the page so that you are able to see the wallpaper graphic. But, I don’t really like the wallpaper so I installed Carbon Wallpaper via the PwnCenter source and used it instead. Also, the Stocks icon is not correct. The theme’s folder contains an icon for the Stocks application however, it does not match the theme. Other than that…the icons are pretty cool. You can get Sam D1 via the MacCiti source. WinterBoard Update – iPhone 3GS Compatible

##ICON_NAME## WinterBoard has been updated to version 0.9.2958-2. According to saurik, the developer; “The newly released 0.9.2958 versions of MobileSubstrate and WinterBoard (upgraded to support ARM7/Thumb2) should now work on the iPhone 3GS.” So, YAY! Let us know in the comments how the update does for you. For those of you who do not have an iPhone 3GS….you will still want to upgrade to the new version of WinterBoard. Boxxy cons Theme boxxyconstheme3 Boxxy cons Theme is a unique theme made up of small icons. The theme contains a dock, wallpaper and 29 icons. Unfortunately, the theme is not packaged for the 3.0 firmware which means if you are on 3.0, you will need to ssh in and change Text.png to Messages.png. The iTunes icon is also packages incorrectly and is spelled iTunea.png and need to be changes to iTunes.png. You can find the icons in the Library/Theme/Boxxycons.theme/Icons folder. [Read more…]

SpringBoard Clock Update

SpringBoard Clock There is an update to SpringBoard Clock, a mod that adds the current time and date to your SpringBoard, to version 1.1. The update is said to change the app so that the user can use their own wallpaper and includes some bug fixes. I gave the update a shot and I’m still not having much luck. The wallpaper of the mod has been changed to a blank wallpaper but, I still cannot use it with another theme’s wallpaper (by moving the theme above the SpringBoard Clock mod in WinterBoard) or use my own wallpaper with the mod (by moving User Wallpaper above the SpringBaord Clock mod in WinterBoard).
